Callum Wright to Plymouth

No one saw this coming. Perhaps he’s unhappy at the club and at his age needs to be playing to develop. Did well at Cheltenham at that level so best of luck. We really need to have at least 2 CM’s lined up
 
I’m surprised by this one, I must admit. Seemed to by highly thought of by Leicester supporters, although has struggled to make an impact…
 
The writing was on the wall when Appleton hauled him at half time against West Brom,I don't think he's featured since other than a late appearance on Sat
 
Fair is fair, can't put that down as anything other than a fuck up. Only thing that surprises me is I had heard good things about him prior to being linked, weird that he was so far away from what we need.

Edit - also note Plymouth fans seem to be over the moon with this? Weird
 
Never saw that one coming but as has been said, clearly a panic buy driven by a useless recruitment team. Paid good money for him too l believe!
 
Clubs normally clear the decks in the summer window does this imply were doing a Forest and bringing a bus load in? Another 3/4 will do in this window!
 
Bloody ell, didn't expect that. Could a loan out have been more beneficial? He just looked too lightweight.

Maybe we had an opportunity to recoup what we paid for him and then have that to play with in this window. But a strange one nonetheless.

Yep the signing was a mistake, it happens.
I’m not going to be overly critical because the club made the right decision to sell and recoup some of the losses as opposed to trying to save face on a signing which probably wont work out.

Yes fully agree, if we are looking further up the chain more cash will be needed to bring in ''that player'', nothing stays the same in business.
People need to understand this.
 
The Prem is an easier place than the Championship to cut your teeth. You get time and space …….until you to within shooting distance of goal, where you run into a brick wall. In Div.2 ( old money), they flatten you on the halfway line. Wright, Poveda and Patino have learned that the hard way. They will, all 3, be better for it.
 
Hopefully pool have a better replacement, just shows it was a panic buy in summer , but pool definitely need a very good scorer midfielder
