And what was Rayner's reply?Peston put that point to Angela Rayner last night, asking why at PMQs Keir barely raised the subject of the Internal Market Bill. As Peston speculated, maybe that's because people don't seem all that bothered about the new legislation offending the EU. The perception of the UK public is that the EU is not playing with a straight bat and is blocking a deal.
ITS JUST GREAT .ISN'T IT ..WE DONT HAVE TO DO NOWT LET THE TORIES IN THE GREAT RED WALL THE THINK IS SECURE LIE THIS CHAOS AWAY
TAKE CARE ..T
And what was Rayner's reply?
I'll take that as a 'didn't listen' or 'won't say because it would be harmful to my fixed views.'She didn't have any views either way. Standard Labour really. No policies and no opinions.
I'll take that as a 'didn't listen' or 'won't say because it would be harmful to my fixed views.'
Nandy reminds me of an angry Mum at a supermarket customer services complaining the jar of vegetable baby food had too much carrot in it.I think Lisa Nandy would have been a better bet personally. Two Keirs but never a female leader .
Am I real ...Here for the long gameAre you real?
Hmm, that's annoying. I know you're sufficiently well versed in this forum for me to know a straight answer when I see one.No really, she didn't have anything to say on the matter.
Boris Johnson is not great but he's a long way ahead of everyone else. I see he's going for 10,000,000 virus tests a day. Whatever you think of him you can't say he sets his targets low.
Johnson is nothing but a duplicitous little shit. There’s not an ounce of moral fibre in his body.
That's not true. He'd have got someone else to do it and maintain complete innocence.Johnson is nothing but a duplicitous little shit. There’s not an ounce of moral fibre in his body.
He’d have shot his own mother if he thought it would have helped him climb to the top of the greasy pole!
Has he actually hit any of his self-declared targets or met any deadline to date yet... without fiddling the numbers or moving the goalposts? I think not.Boris Johnson is not great but he's a long way ahead of everyone else. I see he's going for 10,000,000 virus tests a day. Whatever you think of him you can't say he sets his targets low.
This Moonshot project would have more chance of being successful if we were actually planning a moon trip.Has he actually hit any of his self-declared targets or met any deadline to date yet... without fiddling the numbers or moving the goalposts? I think not.
Oh crap!!This Moonshot project would have more chance of being successful if we were actually planning a moon trip.
Small correction. It is all starting to unravel pretty quickly
The EU is now threatening legal action against the UK government and the US Democrats making their own threats to the UK government over potential breaches of the Good Friday agreement.
And at home there could be problems passing the legislation;
Speaking on Radio 4's PM programme after the debate, former Conservative chancellor Lord Lamont said ministers would have to "think again" over the bill.
The Brexit-backing peer added: "I don't think it's going to get through the Lords in its present form".
He said the admission it would breach international law was "impossible to defend" and the government was in "a terrible mess" over the issue.
What a shambles!
Well you’d expect that from her. She’s a proper politician.Pelosi has evidently been very careful with the wording of her statement.
Careful enough to be very clear in her meaning.Pelosi has evidently been very careful with the wording of her statement.
Nancy Pelosi: "If the UK violates that international treaty and Brexit undermines the Good Friday Accord, there will be absolutely no chance of a US - UK trade agreement passing through congress."
Well you’d expect that from Pelosi. She’s a proper politician.
Very naughty Tonto. You’ve selectively edited my original post.Oh dear, she just didn't get it did she? Thought it was all about the UK breaching the Good Friday Agreement. Always best for US politicians to keep out of the politics of other countries. They should know that by now.
Not true at all my little Yorkshire terrier and, what's more, the truth behind the Internal Market Bill is now slowly emerging following tweets today from UK Chief Negotiator Lord Frost. The issue concerns the implications of the EU’s refusal to list Britain as a third country for food imports. Yesterday, Michel Barnier dismissed the Prime Minister’s claim that the Northern Ireland Protocol could be used to break up the UK and denied that Brussels is refusing to list Britain as a third country for food imports. However, Lord Frost has tweeted that the EU knows perfectly well all the details of our food standards rules because we are operating EU rules. Therefore, the situation on 1 January 2021 is very clear.
Frost said “This has been discussed many times with the EU including last week, but it has been made clear to us in the current talks that there is no guarantee of listing us. I am afraid it has also been said to us explicitly in these talks that if we are not listed we will not be able to move food to Northern Ireland. The EU's position is that listing is needed for Great Britain only, not Northern Ireland. So if GB were not listed, it would be automatically illegal for NI to import food products from GB.”
Very very naughty Barnier threatening that nice Lord Frost and then pretending he didn't. He's a bit like a school yard bully. Good job Boris is on the ball.
^^^ The use of this phrase is well gay BTWIs that Frosty the No Man?
That’s why I it so much^^^ The use of this phrase is well gay BTW
Hahahaha Pelosi a proper politician hahahahahaha what a dick.Well you’d expect that from her. She’s a proper politician.
And I do know what you mean. A breach of the Withdrawal Agreement doesn’t necessarily mean a breach of the GFA ie a hard border between NI and the ROI.
But it brings us right back to the conundrum that May tussled with for a long time. And it’s not really a conundrum that disappears with either a FTA or no deal. Different customs arrangements involve checks. So where will they be?
Great! Every time his policy collapses he makes up an even bigger nonsensical target he will fail to meet again. It's like Robert Mugabe is in charge of the UK. On corruption, respect for democracy and international law and cronyism he might as well be.Boris Johnson is not great but he's a long way ahead of everyone else. I see he's going for 10,000,000 virus tests a day. Whatever you think of him you can't say he sets his targets low.
Whatever your opinion of the great lady she will head the body that would have to ratify any US-UK trade agreement.Hahahaha Pelosi a proper politician hahahahahaha what a dick.
Don’t say that Trammo. Some people will probably believe you.U- Boat wolf pack spotted tonight off South Pier. Blockade has started.
Haha.Hahahaha Pelosi a proper politician hahahahahaha what a dick.
Did’nt Spain sell out the Uk to Argentina by backing the Argies during the Falklands war ?No solidarity there with a then fellow EU member! The same Spain that has territorial designs on Gibraltar.I have been saying for nigh on three years that we need to build a lot more Coastguard patrol boats. Italy has 600 boats for their coastline while we have 12. This is going to get very messy and Barnier seems to be trying to rile up the French fishermen (easily done). Surprisingly, the Spanish, whose ports are just as reliant on British waters for their catch, have been relatively quiet so far.
But I half expect Bozo to sell out the UK’s fishermen to the EU with a last minute concession on fishing and then try and blame it all on Sturgeon.
And they sent the Armada!! Bastards!!!Did’nt Spain sell out the Uk to Argentina by backing the Argies during the Falklands war ?
Haha where’s the hate, I’m laughing at you. Oh by the way is that the same Pelosi that broke strict lock down rules to get her hair done ? Is that not a bit like your mate Cummings taking an afternoon drive ? Double standards and all that eh mex.Haha.
More hate filled negativity from Scara
You are assuming the Donald will be gone by then ?Whatever your opinion of the great lady she will head the body that would have to ratify any US-UK trade agreement.
No he isn’t. Congress has to approve the trade deal whoever is President. You are assuming the Donald will be gone by then ?
Is she on her own ?No he isn’t. Congress has to approve the trade deal whoever is President.
No one ever claimed she was. L’Etranger said she headed up the body (Congress) that has to ratify the trade deal.Is she on her own ?
Nope wrong again mexy, no hate here except from the rabid Left stressing out about everything. You do realise just because we disagree on something it doesn’t instantly mean your right don’t you. Probably not.No one ever claimed she was. L’Etranger said she headed up the body (Congress) that has to ratify the trade deal.
You got it wrong.
This is what happens when you allow your hate to blind you I’m afraid.
Well I do know that The Wonderful Nancy heads up Congress. And that Congress has to ratify any trade deal. Which you seemed to be struggling to grasp for some reason. LolNope wrong again mexy, no hate here except from the rabid Left stressing out about everything. You do realise just because we disagree on something it doesn’t instantly mean your right don’t you. Probably not.

Again showing your absolute bigoted ignorance as Spain wasn't in the EU during the Falklands WarDid’nt Spain sell out the Uk to Argentina by backing the Argies during the Falklands war ?No solidarity there with a then fellow EU member! The same Spain that has territorial designs on Gibraltar.
Whoops Trammo.Again showing your absolute bigoted ignorance as Spain wasn't in the EU during the Falklands War
