Gary Bowyer has agreed a deal to be out next manager.
I'd prefer Dobbie, with Bowyer as his right hand man. That might work. With Dobbie as his right hand man? Would make sense.
His assistant at Dundee was Billy Barr?!
Like the country continually living in the pastIt’s like an obsession with re appointing former managers ….
It must be true thenBlackpool return imminent for Gary Bowyer as deal agreed
Football Insider sources understand that Blackpool are set to appoint former Dundee boss Gary Bowyer as their new manager.www.footballinsider247.com
I’m ok with it if this is the case but would still have preferred Dobbie tbhGood appointment in my opinion.
The man who got Blackpool promoted and Dundee promoted is a dreadful appointment???Oh well don’t say you weren’t warned. Dreadful appointment
Sorry……but this man will definitely maintain our L1 status (and probably get us in top 10) but he will NEVER get us promoted from this league….Gary Bowyer has agreed a deal to be out next manager.
He got two teams promoted who had just been relegated the previous season. There is absolutely nothing inspiring or transformational in what he's done. The man who got Blackpool promoted and Dundee promoted is a dreadful appointment???
Really!!!
For a club that should be looking to get promoted out of League One, it isn't dreadful but it is pretty uninspiring. He's never been near a promotion at the level we're playing at next season. The man who got Blackpool promoted and Dundee promoted is a dreadful appointment???
Really!!!
Spot on. He also flopped on his arse at Bradford and bored the life out their fans and failed at Salford despite having one of bigger budgets in League (to be fair most have). He got two teams promoted who had just been relegated the previous season. There is absolutely nothing inspiring or transformational in what he's done.
Neither has anyone else we were rumoured to be looking at, except Critchley. For a club that should be looking to get promoted out of League One, it isn't dreadful but it is pretty uninspiring. He's never been near a promotion at the level we're playing at next season.
This is an extremely reliable source who called the Appleton sacking and the McCarthy appointment before anyone else.It must be true then
To be fair a 48% win percentage at Salford is very good. They sacked him too early, for a narrow miss on the play-offs.Spot on. He also flopped on his arse at Bradford and bored the life out their fans and failed at Salford despite having one of bigger budgets in League (to be fair most have).
If this is our ambition then we haven’t got much.
Based upon what?Sorry……but this man will definitely maintain our L1 status (and probably get us in top 10) but he will NEVER get us promoted from this league….
That would make more sense.Apparently my son tells me he was described as the glue holding the club together,
Under the Oystons.
Also hoping the source have added 2+2 and got 5 .
And that Bowyer is set to become our new Sporting director .
