Bishop ran the show for Accy at our place must have been 2020 just before the lockdowns. Should have scored a hat trick that day managed to bag the 90th minute winner for them. Him and Charles were class that day.

Looked very good at Lg1 level as did Yates, but I think Bishop maybe be a bit more physically suited to the league over Yates.

Anyway seems like a sensible transfer for us to make.

I see Jerry more as a provider personally as he has a good football brain but for me lacks the poacher instinct. More a Sheringham than a Shearer if you will

I think this is more a case of our recruitment team having their ear to the ground, being on the ball (pardon the pun) and realising that at 500k Bishop is a steal. Then reacting quickly to get the signing done. In January his price was 1.5million so top work all round I would say.

He is more than just a simple 10 goals a season man, his hold up play is excellent, he is a real threat in the air in both boxes, he occupies defenders to allow space for other - Charles and McConville at Accy for example.
