I’d like a Ferrari for 2k but that also won’t be happeningWould rather have Ellis simms for the £500,000 tbh

The last striker we got from Acrington Stanley wasnt too badWould rather have Ellis simms for the £500,000 tbh
Hope you’re rightThe rumours in January had no substance and the the account which posted that transfer news of Yates to Ipswich is a fake account, I think Jerry's post on Instagram will show you he loves this place and wont leave
Or Madine. If he’s coming in and we’re playing 433, someone out of Yates, Lavery, CJ, Dale & Anderson are on their way out.
I think Madine is with us this year. Offers something different.Or Madine.
Tbf I totally forgot about Bowler. All the tak of him going has fallen by the way side.Or Madine.
They e already said at Everton they are willing to let him go for £500,000In what world would Everton just sell him to us for that price?
I'm pretty sure that was made up nonsense, I haven't seen anything official or from a reliable source to suggest they'd accept £500K.They e already said at Everton they are willing to let him go for £500,000
Agree had he been touted at £500,000 loads of clubs would have been in for him including us.I'm pretty sure that was made up nonsense, I haven't seen anything official or from a reliable source to suggest they'd accept £500K.
"fredscuttles hampton' comment, wasn't to complimentaryI actually like Pompey fans and they were great with us through the s but this made me laugh
If we're judging size of club by attendance when was the last time Portsmouth had a 60,000 crowd!!I actually like Pompey fans and they were great with us through the s but this made me laugh
Or bothBishop might be the natural goal scorer we have lacked. Hope it’s true and maybe he can dovetail nicely with either Lavery or Yates.
Check your facts mateI heard that Bishop moves diagonally
12 league last season, including 2 pens. Is he more natural than Jerry who got 24 the previous season?Bishop might be the natural goal scorer we have lacked. Hope it’s true and maybe he can dovetail nicely with either Lavery or Yates.
I see Jerry more as a provider personally as he has a good football brain but for me lacks the poacher instinct. More a Sheringham than a Shearer if you will12 league last season, including 2 pens. Is he more natural than Jerry who got 24 the previous season?
Im less sure about him but we'll have to see what he brings to the party. Good all round forward play perhaps.
Colby was feeding off scraps most of the time. Accy played a lot of long ball with zero creativity.12 league last season, including 2 pens. Is he more natural than Jerry who got 24 the previous season?

Right at home then!Colby was feeding off scraps most of the time. Accy played a lot of long ball with zero creativity.

Listen pal. You're a rookie in this game. That’s shocking!! Don’t use Ste as a pawn in your little game.
Well ok but Bishop got like 10, 10 and 12 the last 3 seasons and Jerry got 24 in his one L1 season with us.I see Jerry more as a provider personally as he has a good football brain but for me lacks the poacher instinct. More a Sheringham than a Shearer if you will
5 times the size by what measure?I actually like Pompey fans and they were great with us through the s but this made me laugh
Ah yeh you’re right, thanks for that, at my age the mind plays tricks. .Bishop didn't play in that game, it was McConville who got the winner.
Apart from a prolific oneHe’s the different type of forward that we still don’t have to be fair.A big powerful lad who scores goals.
We have a good variety of forwards if Bishop signs
I thought Bishop only ran diagonallyApart from a prolific one
but only diagonallyBishop is just a pawn to be moved around.
Agree, definitely not one we've highlighted as the missing piece. The way we seem to have jumped in and nicked Bishop off Pompey at the last minute hardly fits with the notion that we plan our recruitment, in the manner described by Ben Mansford? The reality seems a bit different from the spin.
Maybe this is due to MA arriving and putting his two penneth in.The way we seem to have jumped in and nicked Bishop off Pompey at the last minute hardly fits with the notion that we plan our recruitment, in the manner described by Ben Mansford? The reality seems a bit different from the spin.
I think this is more a case of our recruitment team having their ear to the ground, being on the ball (pardon the pun) and realising that at 500k Bishop is a steal. Then reacting quickly to get the signing done. In January his price was 1.5million so top work all round I would say.Maybe this is due to MA arriving and putting his two penneth in.
He is more than just a simple 10 goals a season man, his hold up play is excellent, he is a real threat in the air in both boxes, he occupies defenders to allow space for other - Charles and McConville at Accy for example.1.5m for a striker who gets about 10 goals a season in L1?
Parallel universe.
Sounds like Big Gaz.He is more than just a simple 10 goals a season man, his hold up play is excellent, he is a real threat in the air in both boxes, he occupies defenders to allow space for other - Charles and McConville at Accy for example.
