Never done Wolves before and on a bit of a tight schedule so don't want to be driving in circles at 7.30....

Lots of options near the stadium, given it won't be anywhere near full, I doubt there will be an issue. Last time I parked on Red Hill St and that was an easy in/out. 👍🏼

Their best player Nunez on strike. Probably wouldn't have played anyway but its good that he has caused a rumpus in the build up to this game. Hope Critchley plays a solid team and gives the fans something decent to watch tonight and help with confidence for Saturday.

Predicted Wolves XI (v Blackpool): Bentley, Doherty, Kilman, Toti, Bueno, Hodge, Traore, Neto, Sarabia, Ait-Nouri, Kalajdzic.
 
I wouldn’t expect the three players that got hauled off at HT at Lincoln to start or he is contradicting what he said post match interview.

So expect Mav, Dougall and Beesley to not start or even not be in the squad.
 
I don't know what to expect, a drubbing to nil is likely as we can't score against league one defender's.
Personally I'd start full strength, confidence/ character needs building on the pitch and in the stands. Resting players after half a dozen games is a premier league luxury not for a lowly league one club.
Let's just get on with it Critchley and errrrmmm not fink to much !!

Is the best option to stop in Penkridge or something similar?

Sorted parking in Asda last week - glad I did as it's sold out now.

You mean the personal millions that Sadler has invested in his childhood club? Do you know how much he lost during Covid?

And if our second team get tonked 4-0 tonight, I will, of course, be annoyed, but will then we can focus on the league.

I don’t really make a connection between us in the league and us in the cup.

Sadler remains without enough cash or unwilling to invest for prolonged success.

If the former, he should hire a co-funder.

Should the latter apply, he must admit his unsuitability and sell to a new custodian.
 
We haven't got much up front and the wingbacks aren't really functioning maybe we should try something a but different tonight, we'll obviously be resting a few as well.

I think even with Rhodes coming in we need another centre forward to come in but Beesley will probably have to do the job tonight.
The alternative would be 4 3 3 with Trybull coming in and Beesley dropping out and Weir playing middle of a front 3.
 
Don't know anything about the Wolves 2nd string players but they are have got to have more potency in attack than us..can't see us scoring unless we get a pen. I expect a better performance than Lincoln but think it will be another glorious defeat.
 
Going to Wolves is one of the bleakest trips in football; we seldom win there, we even lost there when they were bottom of the same league as us, in Div 3.

Grim place and odious fans….apart from that it’s great. I did get to see Bull and Mutch once…..

I used to live in Stourbridge and worked in Dudley. There's a lot of crap talked about the West Midlands by people who don't actually know the area.
