What caused the trouble in the North?

Been told 2 stories one it was Bolton fans and other someone punched a youth.

Fair play to Grimmy defusing the situation.👍

Presume they celebrated their goal and got ousted?
They didn't just celebrate they were screaming at a woman and her kid to fuck off. The police and stewards did nothing until the a couple of the Blackpool lads intervened. If they had reacted straight away rather than just watching what was going on, the they could have diffused the situation a lot quicker than they did.

Not like the police and stewards to be useless.

Glad some dickheads got taught a lesson.

Where abouts were they?

Saw it all when they were coming towards the other side of the north and seemed to be taking a bit of a pasting.

They were on the stairs inbetween block b and c when I saw them, down near the front. I was mid way up in block c and I could hear them.

I was just behind the incident. The authorities were much too slow to react, especially the police who seem to only be capable of standing on street corners drawing overtime payments , and inflating council tax bills.

I was midway up in block c and I could see it going on for a good few minutes before the police or stewards did anything.

Whoever these four were, what was ridiculous was that with more police than I can ever recall posted ot the match not one lifted a finger to go and sort out this situation. They just left the stewards to it, people on pretty low pay with no authority. Massively poor form IMO. What is the point of them if all they are capable of doing is filming people on thier selfie sticks and picking up arrests later on.

I was in the South but got told by my cousin and his pals after the game one shouted out come on Bolton?and started being abusive towards the lass and her kid.

If that's the case, as footballing misjudgements go it's right up there with Mo Johnston signing for Rangers.

From what's being said by multiple people, they were sat in someone else's seats and were asked to move. One got gobby and and started shouting at 2 women and a kid to fuck off. Other's got involved as no one knew who they were as they'd never been see before, add to that they all have accents similar to Bolton and people thought they were Bolton fans. The gobby one then shouted come on Bolton and that's when it all went to shit and all 4 of them got a slap as it was now assumed that they were Bolton fans. Sounds like one guy ruined it for the rest of them, and they shouldn't have been in that block to begin with. The guy posting on twitter is a Blackpool fan, but he's obviously brought a Bolton fan with him which he should know better. I dont condone violence of any kind, but it happens, especially when you do stupid stuff like this.

It's a shame that a Blackpool fan with good taste in music has such a shit taste in friends 😉.

No point in trying to defend the indefensible.
He's not helped himself by posting it all over twitter either. Now he's got a load of Blackpool fans having a go for bringing a Bolton fan in the home end and a load of Preston fans using this as an excuse to laugh/bitch about us. So he hasn't got any type of the reaction he was after.

Posted for sympathy, but it's just made the truth come out quicker. He went very quiet after being confronted.
