Think Something Positive

No we're not in a play off position. When we are then you can say we've made an improvement. Until then we've done nothing.
That's a silly comment. Our current form is better than the teams around us, therefore we're making an improvement.

No, what's silly is you can't discern the difference between meaningful and meaningless. The cocoon of working within the civil service has dulled your senses.

There are multiple 'Critchey out!' threads on here at the moment. Of course, moaning is easy. But just suppose, for a moment, that all of this febrile hostility is falling on deaf Sadler ears. What then?

So, there's the challenge. Post suggestions for improving the situation, given that "Critchley Out!" doesn't work.
Team getting better as the season progresses, Buyers a quality addition yet to start, 8th with 16 games to go, on a par with the team that got promoted from this league last time with this manager. Finished 3rd then. We need 10 wins from 16 games east peasy for a club that can do the perfect ten. Lots of football to play exciting times ahead and I would not bet against us.

I think he needs a good right hand man and Bowyer/Thommo always speak a lot of sense and actually work out the problem in their match day analysis. I just wonder if those aside him at the moment are nodding dogs and I bet Dobbie has been frozen out altogether.

Figures relating to league one only..
In 94% of games where Blackpool score first they avoid defeat... 81% resulting in wins.
In 90% of games where Blackpool concede first they lose.. 0% wins.
If NC and his assistants adopted a more POSITIVE approach after conceding the first goal, I am POSITIVE Blackpool would currently occupy a top six position with their squad ... both pre and post January .... without any significant affect on goal difference.
I am also POSITIVE that NC will secure league one status for next season.

The ‘situation’ is already improving…. So my suggestion would be to simply stop being an impatient dick and let things take their natural course.
Just exactly how is our situation improving, mary? Are results any better than they were at any other point in the season? People seem to love saying things like "improving" and "measured progress" but they are just throw away phrases with very little evidence to back it up.

Phew! At least we're staying up then.
