Think Something Positive

There are multiple 'Critchey out!' threads on here at the moment. Of course, moaning is easy. But just suppose, for a moment, that all of this febrile hostility is falling on deaf Sadler ears. What then?

So, there's the challenge. Post suggestions for improving the situation, given that "Critchley Out!" doesn't work.

I am positive that unless we play our players to their strengths and learn how to defend and attack as a team we will continue to meander through the season.

I am positive that unless Sadler helps his manager by getting him experienced support such as Bowyer that Critchley’s ability limitations and refusal to push his ego out of the way will ensure we remain in league one.

I am positive that remaining in league one will ensure Sadler’s rhetoric will sound more Oyston like by the day.

I am positive that if critchley continues to pick teams without using merit in his selection process that any self respecting professional such as lyons will ask for a move.

Nice try 66 👍

I am positive that the youngsters in the North love the team and love the manager. They’re enjoying the season and will be back next season.
I’ve got a bunch of 18 year olds who’ve never been to a game wanting me to get them tickets for Wigan away because my god son is loving his experience and selling them the dream

I'm just hoping we win the next game and believe we can.

I've put the playoffs to the back of my mind after the last two results but I'll still try and enjoy the rest of the season. We were looking like we'd turned a corner with our performances and then had a couple of undeserved sucker punches in the last couple of games. We've given ourselves too much to do but I hope we can get back towards the performances we saw at the start of the year.

Critchley needs some “football” people along side him on the coaching / management team. People who have played at a decent level, & or have some past affiliation with Blackpool FC.

The saying talks about the enthusiasm and talent of the young [tick] and the wisdom of the old [hmm...]

Spot on Chunky
I don’t know how many “regular” posters there are on this forum but it is only a small percentage of our fan base who slag the manager and team off whether we win, lose or draw.

Critchley Out .. but even louder ? 😇

Sadlers the problem I’m not even convinced he wants a Manager just a Coach who does what he’s told … from the initial euphoria ( rather like OO ) now showing no signs Ambition for BFC platitude and bollockings to us ungrateful fans .. moaning about £20 for a 5p plastic card ( which I used to collect btw ) etc happy to drift and sign kids and loan them out for loan fees & we were told via his mouthpiece they would progress to the 1st Team .. which is utter bollocks sad to say ..

Mornin' all...
Bear with me on this one, it has some relevance....!

I don't know if anybody has seen the episode of 'The Simpsons' where Homer is up a pole trying to recover a pack of 4 Duff beers which had somehow ended up straddling high voltage electricity cables?
He can reach the beer, but everytime he touches them he gets an electric shock, due to the 'leccy conducting through the aluminium cans, and the beer contents.

The point is, Homer realises that by continuing his actions he is going to continually get shocked, but he is so single minded and willing to endure the shocks that he perseveres in his actions ad nauseum' throughout the day and night, doing exactly the same thing without any hope of altering the outcome....!

Does that sound vaguely familiar...!!

Mmm… think the positivity bit went over your head a touch?

Generally, older people moan more I find.

Not sure it’s a saying but.
Well I'm 75 today and I am generally happy with the progress on and off the field. I do 't believe that the negativity that dominates this forum is at all representative of the fanbase. After relegation we then lost several key players and a rebuild was begun. That is now ongoing and meanwhile we are just outside the playoffs, gave a good account of ourselves in the FA Cup, and are in the semis of the "tinpot" cup. Ask the fans of Sunderland, Wednesday, Ipswich, Derby, Portsmouth - all clubs with significantly greater resources than BFC - how easy it is to get out of this division.

I agree and more importantly Happy Birthday

We seem to be playing 3 at the back better
Partly because we stopped playing inverted W/B {but where to play the chosen one?}
Joseph and Kouassi look like 2 good prospects at this level
This squad has shown it's good enough

The positive is that we have some decent players who might excel playing in a different system or for a new manager.

I'm sorry is it the end of the season? Doesn't matter in the slightest where we are now.

Can you honestly see the away form changing? There are no signs whatsoever. We are miles away. The only thing that potentially might help is changing the formation but he isn't going to do that.

We won away at Bristol Rovers 2 weeks ago 😂

Was that a sign? Or what was that? Just a lucky win? Was the formation ok that game?

Be great if you could give everyone your analysis.

One off win just like Portsmouth and Barnsley. Generally it's Blackpool Nil when away from home. No sign that is changing.

I genuinely never thought you were 75 Kerry?
You’re booking the moaning trend 😂

You've got to love posters that come on to a positivity thread and turn it into a negative.
Don't worry, the Doomsday Clock is at 90 seconds to midnight. Not long to go now.

What? the man who is very highly regarded in the football world for developing young players!
Mind you I cannot understand why he’s not working on Rob Apter!
