Is this a joke, its not even April 1st yet

This new charter looks like the biggest bunch of woke nonsense I've ever seen

You can tell this has been put together with a load of input from the SLO and the FSA mob

Loads of different groups and panels all in tiers with different levels of importance, just how is that 'Seasiders Together'

Its actually the opposite

The fan panel of handpicked fans sounds more like a wokey box ticking exercise to me, why should someone be on a panel because of the colour of their skin, sexual preference or freaky demographic

Surely it should just be the best people

Then we have the recognised fan groups based on a set criteria from the club this will be in two tiers so bizarrely will mean that some groups have more importance than others so kinda goes against the Seasiders Together catchy strap line

Then last but not least we have the Stakeholder Panel with invited guests of VIPs, aren't all fans Stakeholders?

All seems to me like the club will he hand picking folk to tow the party line whilst ticking several demographic boxes at the same time

Right load of bullshit this

Supporter Charter ffs....

It's a football club not a cobra meeting or a government cabinet re shuffle

How about concentrating on getting us out of this division and following up on the training ground promises Mr Sadler

I’m glad there’s people in this world that actually want to be part of these things as I couldn’t think of anything I’d least like to do.
Well apart from my mate who is the chair of governors at a primary school in a town 30 miles away and where his kids left 12 years ago…. wtf?

I think that the fanbase is a bit divided but probably not as badly as we sometimes make out.

I'm just not sure what the answer is when it comes to fan engagement. Like many, I long for the days when we got our information from The Gazette and match day programmes and didn't want for anything more.

I think an open forum is the best way not all this hand picked structured questions nonsense provided by a football club arse licker

Now its going to get even worse with items on the agenda such as non binary bogs and veggie meat pies

It’s the Fans Progress Group mark 2, but this time more box ticking. Remember that collection of mushrooms who thought they had a voice with KO and when a few realised it was a joke there was just a couple of complete grade A whoppers loving the power and a free box in a 1/4 filled ground.

Load of shite but the authorities would definitely prefer a Soccer Aid/Womens football style crowd at football games and it looks like we’re all over it…🤮

We’ll have people suggesting their cats and dogs, or they might identify as them to fill the demographic gap.

It's just ticking boxes and when it's so obviously forced will there be any real intent for the Club to engage fully anyway.

It looks a bit twee to me and a bit divisive, I mean so you have 101 members, so you are then treated as a VIP, plus how many groups have > 100 members.....a hard one I know, but let me think......

If you knew what they put in pies (think Hollands for example) you would probably never eat one again and be glad to eat a veggie pie. Disclaimer: I am not a raving Vegan and make my own Meat & Potato pies!

How do the tiers work

Will it be like promotion and relegation based on member numbers

Chocolate Hobnobs in Tier 1 and Malted Milk in Tier 2

It's all complete bollocks what on earth are they thinking?

Custard Creams are the default, plus there will be play offs between the 2 top and err the bottom one of the top tier who also happens to be the Champions elect, with a bent ref, obviously.

To be honest I wouldn't trust BST to run a bath

They are more bothered about cosying up to the FSA with white papers, charters, regulators and all other types of bollocks
 
I'm not for or against this because I don't see it affecting me directly.
In the words of the Spice Girls, "I'll tell you what I want, what I really really want"
First up I want to support a successful Blackpool team playing attractive football (not win at all costs the Stevenage way) and I want to do that in a safe enviroment (because I'm old)
Secondly I'd love to see a new training ground built where our Academy can be developed.
And thirdly completing the East Stand would mean we'd have a ground to be reasonably proud of.

Quantify 'members' as well. Is it paid up subscription members, or people who have 'liked' you on social media?

The Armfield Club have paid up members so presumably will get a VIP slot...
 
Stuff like that this drives me mad, and sums up a lot of what’s wrong with the world. Must admit I haven’t actually read it so stand to be corrected, but based on Phil and a few others interpretation it’s exactly what I expected.
There are legions of people obsessed with ticking boxes and being seen to do the right thing. And these idiots wouldn’t know where to start if you invited them to a conversation about real social issues (many of which affect our town)
Why not actually do the right thing? Why not be truly inclusive and democratic (as in best people for the job, voted for by their peers)?
Done properly I’d actually like to engage with something like this, but I’d be prepared to make a large wager there’ll be no dissenting voices at the tea and biscuits afternoon. A massive missed opportunity, but probably exactly what the club want.
Back to caring about match day and transfers (and hopefully a new training ground)
 
So I read a lot about the FSA on this bb.
They represent fans - have they achieved any wins in the past ten years that I would recognise?

Well we’ll have to disagree on that one. But who would get listened to, someone recognised asking questions or someone blabbering on about unregulated supporters groups. Sometimes towing the line & being organised does actually get you heard.

You said getting a football regulator was a success, I disagree as he hasn't even started yet and you've admitted it may not even work
