Rishi Sunak

According to that net effect is 2 to 3% already rising to 5 to 6% by 2035.
Problem, that pre-dates some massive upward revisions to GDP that the ONS made in September 2023.

Are you seriously suggesting that we are not worse off because of Brexit?
The report above is based on recent analysis.
"Euronews".

"The report was commissioned for City Hall by London's mayor, Sadiq Khan".

Can you post some analysis that shows that the economy has grown because of Brexit?

Brexit will cost our economy billions every year until we move closer to the EU again. We will be back in the single market within 10 - 15 years is my prediction.

None of those are particularly significant, or worth my time dealing with.
Even by your standards, that is simply breathtaking.

Brexit has cost the UK economy hundreds of millions. Trussonomics has pushed interest rates up, affecting both mortgages and the cost of debt to the UK Government. In which circle of hell is that not worth your time? True colours being shown, straight out of the Rishi playbook, when facts are presented, ignore them and make out it's Labour's fault.

Googling G7 GDP growth reveals no obvious impairment as a result of Brexit, and certainly not the 5% - 6% loss that you seem to think.

There won't be a single market in 10 - 15 years, is my prediction.

At th end of this month, we have to start the border checks which they have kicked down the road. More bureaucracy, more cost. Even JRM thinks its crazy.

So a quick google and a glance at a graph as a layperson is worth more than detailed econometric analysis by experts in the field.
Imagine how you would react if one of your juniors presented you with this type of 'evidence'?
It is great trolling though.
Can you really believe that our economy has not been affected by introducing trade barriers with our biggest market?

Awaits Mr Deflection not to answer your question Blood

"As for females and non whites, box ticking has been great for us with May, Truss and Sunak ;)"......ah, there we go Wiz doesn't disappoint.
Am I wrong? Not deflecting, waiting for examples of Tory success in the last 14 years.

Talking nonsense about women PMs is deflection.

There's so much scope for manipulation in these studies, you can make them say almost anything you want, so anything coming out of the MoL's office is meaningless.

I'm prepared to take the NIESR a bit more seriously, although even then there's a bias towards finding a loss, and the 2% - 3% loss they did find is wiped out by the subsequent upwards revision of the figures.
