Rishi Sunak

Sunak was allowed to be chosen by Tory MPs because the Conservative Party found out that, left to their bonkers members, the choice was bizarre.

Pretty sure David Cameron is our current Prime Minister isn't he? He's the one jetting around the world talking to other leaders, and making statements about the wars we are getting dragged into.

Rishi is sat at home making dubious Twitter videos.

As Ben Elton said "He is dripping with vanity".

Followed around by a photographer and video crew. Carefully and professionally manicured images of himself on his Twitter feed "pretending" to work from desks in various places (including aircraft). It's all a show. Sadly the electorate see through the bullsh1t it as he's not capable of pulling off the stunt.

He is a dreadful little man in every way.

He is, it’s a ** disgrace that he’s the PM of the UK, problem is that other fucker on the other side isn’t any better…

All top politicians have scripted visits with photographers, including Starmer

Pot calling kettle black here.

Rishi has his faults but he's a massive improvement on Lego Head Starmer.

However, neither should be a leader of a major political party.

Sunak, Starmer and Davey what a pile of shite.
Davey is the worst and that’s not to say the other two are much better.
The saddest thing for me is there are so few decent parliamentarians these days ie those who put the people or even their constituents needs first but their own or party ambitions.
Our conservative MP who will almost certainly lose her seat to the Lib Dems come the election( Stockport Council doesn’t have a single Conservative member now even in the leafy suburbs so she has no chance) and to honest I am not sure she has even spoken in the commons yet.

As for those leading our Civil Service they are more into their “we know best” than even the politicians. How many have any concept of life in the real world.

What, in your opinion, are Keir Starmer's failings that make him a "lego head?"
Also, what are the reasons for your assessment of Rishi Sunak being a massive improvement on Starmer. Bear in mind that if you are referring to Sunak's abilities as PM then they can't be an improvement on Starmer, who has never held that office.
Please be concise with your answers. 500 words for each question should suffice.

'Lego Head' has been used by several journalists in relation to his rigid plastic personality.

Starmer has flattered to deceive . He was the head of Cps during Jimmy Saville, PO debacle, and although he's always denied knowledge (he would do), it was under his watch.

Lets remember for all its faults, Rishi introducing furlough saved a lot of peoples wages and businesses.

Starmer has yet done nothing, but promised a lot, the usual thing to do when in opposition. It will be interesting how well (or not) Captain Hindsight does in Power.

Pretty concise reply '66

Introduced furlough yet made no attempt to have any concept as to avoiding fraud being built into the system, and indeed, rather than try and recoup it, randomly wrote off billions.

Thank you. It's important to understand that becoming PM is not an entertainment contest. Starmer has rescued Labour from oblivion after Corbyn. It is also true that he is building support and managing his party well. I don't think he needs to worry about a supposed plastic personality.

It was Johnson who introduced furlough. Sunak was the man behind "eat out to help the virus." However, you are right in that it will be interesting to see how well Labour manage their role in Government. I would suggest to you that it would be great to see you join the right side of history and vote Labour at the next election.

To be fair, the furlough scheme was under Sunak's watch as Chancellor.

Don’t need 500 words..Starmer is an opportunist ** and ex (mostly human rights and criminal) lawyer end of which says it all as far as I’m concerned.
Did a great job when those sub post office managers were prosecuted as did Davey.
As for Starmer being PM no thanks.

You carry on making events fit with your narrative. It must be comforting.

So 14 years of more and more evidence and more and more suppression of that means nothing?

No, no, no. My narrative involves a party that I hope (can't know), will turn our country around. Make it more at peace with itself, make it less divided economically and socially, make it more confident across the globe and turn us into a green energy powerhouse.
…as Does every politician say. It’s a democracy ( thank goodness) we still live in but our current politicians are more divided than I can ever remember and are far to inclined to forget about anything other than themselves.
Far too few “ good and balanced” people enter politics these days and that seems to apply the world over.
At least for me I am grateful I don’t live in the USA where god forbid they have a choice between Trump 💩( the worst of the lot) and Biden, two geriatrics who should have been put out to pasture a long time ago and a two party system far worse than ours when it comes to finding a sensible way forward.
Anyway I have broken my promise to myself to stay out of political debates on here and stupidly didn’t so that is my last words on the matter as I won’t change your mind anymore than you will me.

For the millionth time, the PO prosecutions were brought by the PO and went nowhere near the CPS. Stop smearing him, and suggesting he had more impact on Saville than those of the Tory party who lionised him, got him to do promo stuff for them, knighted him, Maggie even had himover for Christmas dinner.

Rishi introduced furlough to protect company workforces, if they'd been laid off, the companies would not have restarted. He also introducedeat out to help out, with no scientific advice, leading to an escalation in Covid cases.
