Stunning news
WeirdoI did confirm this about 2 weeks ago old news to me in the Box OF Toys we Trust enjoy your day troops
Exactly, no one knows what was said yesterday so it’s completely irrelevant......and had he announced it yesterday and some unknown hitch had scuppered the deal then you would have slagged them off for building our hopes up.
You just can’t please some people.
Being an eternal optimist, it's no wonder you go all Bruce Lee whenever anyone questions the team. Why don’t you just fcuk off and support someone else?
I assume there was paperwork to complete to negate the release clause. You wouldn't want to announce it and then Hudders change their mind for whatever reason. At least we kept hold of Rhodes against all the odds, though, eh?
In his interview with Radio Lancs, Critch says he found out he was staying yesterday morning. The club wasn't in a rush to break the good news, was it?!
Great news this. Keeps our faint playoff hopes alive
And if Man City had League 2 players they'd be in League 2.Great timing..
But smile at the wisdom by A Tense Grin.
Without goals from Rhodes, Blackpool would now languish about 16th in division three.
Around Wycombe's place, 14 points off the playoff spots.
Further positive transfer window news required for better league away form.
Only then would promotion look possible.
This, we need an old git to help the youngsters, like Richard did. Priceless, their experienceThat is really fantastic news, not just for his goals and performances but it's also massive for players like Joseph, Bees, Kylian, Lava and Dembele, huge what he brings to the coaching of these players. Looks like he will be staying on too.
Utter nonsense for two reasons.Without goals from Rhodes, Blackpool would now languish about 16th in division three.
It's a strange feeling to agree with Paulco but the fact is other strikers can't do what Rhodes has done for us hence our wanting to sign him even if it's just on loan. He accomplished what our team couldn't do and thus he has put points on the board that otherwise would have been lost. The only point of contention is how many points because as you said others could have scored.Utter nonsense for two reasons.
1. If Rhodes hadn't been playing then we'd have had another striker who could have scored in those games
2. You might as well say the same about every team in the Top 6 - whether a player is yours or on loan is irrelevant - there are teams in the Top 6 who wouldn't be there without their key players.
Great news. We'd be even shitter if he left.
They are not faint 8th with half a season to goGreat news this. Keeps our faint playoff hopes alive
They are very faint when we can't win away from home. Not sure why people think that will magically change. They are not faint 8th with half a season to go
I can’t understand why people think it won’t.They are very faint when we can't win away from home. Not sure why people think that will magically change.
Great timing..

What has being an eternal optimist got to do with anything?Being an eternal optimist, it's no wonder you go all Bruce Lee whenever anyone questions the team.
This would be good!Great bloke and exactly what we need, Hope he wins the coaching team at some point
Yes, precisely this.Utter nonsense for two reasons.

I just think 3-5-2 is shit (boring) and the main reason for our poor away record. Is there anything wrong with that? What has being an eternal optimist got to do with anything?
I have supported Blackpool Football Club through thick and thin for over 50 years and been through the full spectrum of emotions in doing so and quite simply when someone like you comes on this forum and slags them off every single day regardless if we win, lose or draw it winds me up.
You don’t know the meaning of the word support and it baffles me why you bother following them ( if indeed you do)
You are clearly not happy with your lot so I repeat, go and watch someone else and stop boring us with all your negativity.
I wouldn't give ATG the time of day he is so negative and clueless. What has being an eternal optimist got to do with anything?

I asked a poster the other day to name 5 teams he'd seen us play against(live not IPTV) this season who had been entertaining he struggled to name two and one of those games we won!I just think 3-5-2 is shit (boring) and the main reason for our poor away record. Is there anything wrong with that?
If you can't hear the noise and the strikers in the box, you don't know if he's scored until you look and utill that moment he's both missed and scored.Yes, precisely this.
Unless of course the Schrödinger’s striker principle applies…….
You forgot to add but is always right.I wouldn't give ATG the time of day he is so negative and clueless.
Only in your opinion no one else's, anyway your team got beat 4-0 Saturday. You forgot to add but is always right.
Never question our @Lythamkev! In the box of toys we trust!!You talk nonsense.
If he's on a higher wage topped up by Huddersfield that he doesn't want to give up, we don't want to take on the full cost and he's keeping his options open for next season then it probably works out for all to carry on like it is.Why haven't we tried to get him on a permanent?
Contract up this year and hasn't had a sniff at Huddersfield
Yeah i get that but when his contract is up there will probably be a load of other clubs in for him, so it would be a gamble on if we got him or notIf he's on a higher wage topped up by Huddersfield that he doesn't want to give up, we don't want to take on the full cost and he's keeping his options open for next season then it probably works out for all to carry on like it is.
He's getting to do a bit of late career league one stat padding. We've got someone to paper over the cracks of the decision to sell Yates without a proper replacement. Hudds have someone helping to pay off the rest of his contract with them.
I don't think he'd sign here permanently if he can create a situation for himself where he's got a chance of staying on what he's on now for at least another season. From his POV he's here to help himself before us.Yeah i get that but when his contract is up there will probably be a load of other clubs in for him, so it would be a gamble on if we got him or not
At the moment we are in pole position hence my point about signing him now
No reason they can't have a pre-agreement with him is there? They might not have to make that public even if they did. ... My suspicion though is that both parties would want to wait and see (1) where are we (L1 or Championship)?, and (2) how much are others willing to offer and where are they? There are probably more wait and see questions but those are the 2 that spring immediately to mind.Yeah i get that but when his contract is up there will probably be a load of other clubs in for him, so it would be a gamble on if we got him or not

He is a total prick Chunky don't bother to give him the time of day i put him on ignore months ago knobber wum.Did you really think that through before you posted?
Rhodes has been a success for us this season. Who signed him? Who played him?
You can’t slate the owner and manager on one hand yet not give praise for Rhodes. Oh wait…. I almost forgot that you’re a Nobber
Maybe we have, but have an agreement to sign him for nothing in the summer rather than pay a fee now?Why haven't we tried to get him on a permanent?
