I think there's a bus going from Poulton for all the LGBT supporters.Anyone applied for tickets?
Two wrongs don't make it acceptable, to paraphrase an old saying. Why are you worried?
Human rights is appalling in China but majority of the things we buy are Chinese which is fuelling their government.
Two Wongs???Two wrongs don't make it acceptable, to paraphrase an old saying.
I once sent Macron a French letter. Two Wongs???
Sorry Wokes I'll delete this
Dry state ? Not for tourists according to Professor Google. DOH- A !Joking aside ,where are all the piss heads going to stay and drink . Its a dry state . Will there be fans zones and tents stuck out in the middle of the desert
Not like Saudi, more like Dubai in the UAE where you can drink in hotel bars/clubs and there will be dedicated fan parks and in the stadiumsJoking aside ,where are all the piss heads going to stay and drink . Its a dry state . Will there be fans zones and tents stuck out in the middle of the desert
You are right should never have been selected, FIFA corruption at its most blatant! But I personally wouldn’t be worried to go there unless you were working on one of the stadium construction sites or was going to get pissed on the streets and be antisocial, then you would be in for a shockI think there's a bus going from Poulton for all the LGBT supporters.
All seriousness apart (guffaw) I'd be really worried for anyone going as this place should never have been selected
Why don't you boycott gas and oil then?Every football fan should boycott the farce
Not much of a problem with Qatar, problem with the hypocrisy of it all, the hypocrisy of all the continually offended by everything that don't seem to have a problem with it. Oh and then fact they bought it off the most corrupt footballing governing body ever. All a total load of shite. Looking forward to seeing Qatar in future world cups with the massive progress they will make after hosting the Beautiful games premier tournament. The initial FIFA draw for tickets was made at the beginning of March.
We got four x TST 4s for England and four final tickets.
We will apply for QF and Semi tickets through the FA travel club and hopefully get them.
If you have a major issue with Qatar - stop using anything that is oil based - if not, stop being a hypocrite
Why don't you boycott gas and oil then?
No idea - I am goingSurely a boycott is as much against FIFA as it is against Qatar.
As I said we fund these nations by buying their cheap goods. If it wasn’t for work I would be going. The initial FIFA draw for tickets was made at the beginning of March.

You impress with one hand then distress with the other One. I will feel uncomfortable watching it. I probably won't.No idea - I am going
Or be gay.You are right should never have been selected, FIFA corruption at its most blatant! Hear, hear! The whole FOOTBALL model over the decades has been corrupt ! FIFA UEFA and the FA, making the decisions as it suits , Money and sweeteners all around. FFING STINKS.
Trouble is S1 the big drinking Nations won’t be there in any big numbers to benefit but as the Italians are not known for guzzling a rake of ale, oh wait a minute they haven’t qualifiedAlcohol in fan parks and stadiums will be tax free during the tournament
No idea - I am going
Aye but just jesting -obviously. Point being of course that regular England supporters will be discriminated against in Qatar.Got a problem with that @nameless - what a crap post!

Well if you were a travelling gay football fan and you kissed your partner in public you'd risk serious punishment. The danger is obviously more direct and apparent than buying Chinese products. Why are you worried?
Human rights is appalling in China but majority of the things we buy are Chinese which is fuelling their government.
FineYou impress with one hand then distress with the other One. I will feel uncomfortable watching it. I probably won't.
...errrr no!No doubt clapping happily as FIFA turn the tournament into a farce.
A tiny desert date with one city and where it’s just too bloody hot to play the tournament when the rest of the world wants to!!Morality aside, it is a joke that FIFA would select a sandpit half the size of Wales to host footballs premier tournament!
Oh wait....
At least there will be no chants of 'You're only here for the Gay bars'!
Having been to Qatar a few times they won’t even be chanting you’re only here for the bars full stop.Morality aside, it is a joke that FIFA would select a sandpit half the size of Wales to host footballs premier tournament!

To be honest, I would like to go as I’ve not missed watching ant least one England game in a World Cup Tournament since Japan 2002.Thought doha was superb when I went a couple of years ago.......
Wanted to go for World Cup but couldn't get any viable accommodation for a few days
S1; good to see you have already been doing your research!Alcohol will be available around the stadiums and in fan parks as well. No tax will be changed either when selling alcohol outside the hotels.
Apparently it will be just below £5 a pint outside the hotels.
You need to know these thingsS1; good to see you have already been doing your research!
Not a proportionate response. Would achieve nothing. Agree that they shouldn't have been awarded the tournament, but that's a FIFA issue. Stick to what's doable and get off your soap box.Every football fan should boycott the farce
Absolute bollox. It would send a loud and clear message to FIFA that we're not supporting the crazy corrupt decision to give Qatar the World Cup and show solidarity to the families of the 6500 migrant workers who have lost their lives building the stadiums. Not a proportionate response. Would achieve nothing. Agree that they shouldn't have been awarded the tournament, but that's a FIFA issue. Stick to what's doable and get off your soap box.
