Im not sure how good he is but he looks to be a unit> Win the ball and give it. Thats all we need. Maybe a Southern type midfielder.I wouldn't be surprised to see Norburn being considered. His experience would come in handy too.
He has proved that his injury is behind him , and wanted to come so why not . Would strengthen the squad imo .I wouldn't be surprised to see Norburn being considered. His experience would come in handy too.
In fairness to Rhys, he wasn't the only player to be left massively exposed under Crappletons tactics. I actually think he started to improve and I'm sure under Critchley, against L1 opposition he'd be just fine. My only gripe would be wanting a centre back with a bit of experience. If Critchley doesn't think Casey and Tharme are ready, we need 2 CBs so I wouldn't be upset if we signed him as long as the other is an older head.Rhys Williams is available this summer. He was hopeless last season but Klopp had him looking fine when called on. Could Critch do the same?
Is there a proper CB in there somewhere (I didn’t see it last season but then again very few players looked capable)
He was fine at rcb, not so much at lcb. If Marv were to leave I wouldn’t be too disappointed with him as the replacement. In fairness to Rhys, he wasn't the only player to be left massively exposed under Crappletons tactics. I think he managed to keep Troy Deeney quiet so there is a player there.Rhys Williams is available this summer. He was hopeless last season but Klopp had him looking fine when called on. Could Critch do the same?

We need a presence in midfield but the serious issues to address are up front.Im not sure how good he is but he looks to be a unit> Win the ball and give it. Thats all we need. Maybe a Southern type midfielder.
Virtue will be back so it will be interesting to see where he fits in, if at all!
He’d probably be more in Critchleys mould of one passing centre back paired with Marvellous Marv who can’t pass for toffee but can defend and score goalsIn fairness to Rhys, he wasn't the only player to be left massively exposed under Crappletons tactics.
