Can’t see it being anyone from that list or a permanent appointment. Everything points to a temporary appointment until the end of the season.

The mood is generally low and it’s important we get the positivity back, with everyone including fans pulling together. Dobbie and Oli would seem a good bet.

I doubt there are hundreds of people betting on the new Blackpool manager so not sure how much you can read into the odds. Someone putting 50p on would probably swing the odds massively!!

Be good to get a coach that can look at what he's got and come up with an appropriate formation and game plan.
Which is what every coach should do!!

Bookies know sfa tbh!
They grab obvious names out of the hat starting with ones out of work!!
The odds will change hourly cos they’re probably watching forums like this.

That would be about right and they wouldn't lay a carrot to a banana on a market like this.

To be fair to the bookies though, who would ?

You would field peanuts apart from hot money and the hot money in such a market would be absolutely roasting.

Who would you go for Phil?
It's irrelevant to be honest as we don't know who's available and what the club actually wants

If they are going down the Critchley coaching route it could be anybody from the youth teams at several Premier league clubs

I wouldn't want Wellens as I think he's a bit thick but if it's to be someone with a Blackpool connection then I would go for Michael Flynn

It's going to be very difficult to attract anyone to this job. We are not (and never have been) an attractive proposition and our position in the League doesn't lie.

Someone with creds will either want mucho ££££ on a long contract, or big bumper 'stay up' bonus on a show one.

The rest are a gamble. Most seem to want an ex player or coach. Seems like a risky route with history in mind. People mentioning Ollie .... makes me laugh every time. It would be a feckin disaster. Amusing though.

I think unfortunately we will go down now, the team selection and performance at Watford punctured my hope balloon.

So it's an either/or for me. Mr Motivator on a short term (keep us up) Bonus. Or it has to be the right person with some realistic expectation.

I thought of Flynn - did well at Newport (?) and doing well at Walsall. If they’re meeting someone who’s on his way up from London it could be Warburton. Decent record at most places he’s been ands plays fairly attacking football (4 2 3 1).
