Kyle Walker - naughty boy

He’s apologised after being outed for having an affair while his wife is pregnant. They already have three children and according to reports, he has two children with the other woman. Needless to say, his wife has booted him out.

I'm sure I saw somewhere that his current wife fell pregnant whilst he was still with the mother of his other kids, so no sympathy for either of them.

This was the overpaid, thick ** that had sex sessions in a hotel during Covid lockdown.

Professional footballers of today are really not role models, especially compared to legends like Sir Jim, Tom Finney, Morty.
Footballers in the public eye, unfortunately, simply reflect a drop in standards of the population.... Walker says he’s taken ownership of his mistakes... issue a statement and keep a low profile... I would be inclined to believe him... going public with an interview.. LOOK AT POOR ME ....nah...selfish and entitled... learnt nothing!
No respect whatsoever for his family.. all about him.

Although comparing pondlife like Walker with the top table of yesterday is hardly a scientific way of extrapolating that "professional footballers of today are not really role models..."

There are a lot of footballers today who are very decent human beings, and there was probably the odd Kyle Walker in Sir Jim`s day...

We as fans still revere Sir Jim the man and footballer nowadays so there is a certain relevance.

Yes you are correct that there are a lot of pro footballers who are decent, I was trying not to stereotype, but the amount of dross playing the game now seems to be escalating....Walker, Mason Greenwood, etc. Its very hard to think of similar in the 'good old days', probably the odd one but social media has exposed the ones nowadays to the extent it seems commonplace.

The possible ways to meet people are much bigger these days with technology and social media.
A lot of men cheat when there is opportunity, (and a lot don’t cheat because they don’t have that, but would if they did ) footballers have the technology alongside the opportunities of fame and money. I have massive respect for those who appear without scandal, the Alan Shearers and Paul Ince’s of this world, who seem happy with the life and wife they chose and don‘t bring drama or disrespect to their partners.

Well that's two you have found to quote but there are masses of others who work in their communities and live happy family lives. Its just that they don't make the news quite as often as the rouges. Just like in other walks of life really.

Kyle Walker has more England caps as a right back than Jimmy Armfield. That's modern football.

Sorry Wiz, I don`t see the relevance of that - Armfield was, and Walker still is an excellent footballer.

But we are just talking morality here, aren`t we?

I think the worst part of this one is less so the infidelity, had it been a one off, but more the constant lying and betrayal.

His wife found out after the first child via his affair was born, and kicked him out, but after he promised to have no contact with the other woman going forward she took him back.

Then he just carried on living a double life. That kind of behaviour can really wreck someone‘s mental health when they are on the receiving end of it.

It will be hard for his wife to not take him back, what with a fourth kid on the way, but she owes it to herself to stay strong and start life again without him. He’s dog sh*t.

He's thick as mince but a very good right-back. He's made a mess of his relationships, but that's his and their business to sort through, it's no concern of mine or the general public.

Very good I think he's currently the best RB in the world.

As to his personal problems it's just tabloid fodder happens in all walks of life, know a few people who've cheated more of a story is Rashford not turning up for work as Dougall with us.
Walker is still doing the job he's paid for and if he wants to sleep around so be it.

I agree with most of that. But if you’re going to get another lady pregnant, twice, whilst married, then as a high profile footballer sleeping with a social
media influencer there is no way on earth this was ever going to remain private.

And as a consequence people will form opinions on his behaviour. There are children involved too, 6 now, who have a father that has prevented them from living in a traditional family home , with all the emotional and practical stability that often brings. It’s a sad state of affairs for both women and all the children.

Maybe policeman could be role models,
Absolutely not, especially the shower of shoite I see patrolling the towns and streets wearing the Uniform (or scruffy version of it), I was proud to wear at one time.

Agreed parents should be the role model in a youngsters life, but seeing the detritus purporting to be parents nowadays makes me despair.

A large amount of woman cheat as well Lala, in fact i would say they are better/worse at it than men given some of the things i've seen over the years. I can imagine the back streets and alleyways of Blackpool could tell some torrid tales as well...!

Absolutely they do ! I don‘t think monogamy is a natural human state, not for a lifetime anyway. Women are slightly more adept at pulling it off though.

Not sure about Inces fidelity Lala maybe he is, was. But wasn't Shearer reputed to have scored a few open goals past Gabby Logan some years back.

Under the pier as well, allegedly.

This has been in the news for a while. He is only saying this now because he is lonely as both his wife and his other woman have thrown him out

….don’t use such big words….thought I’d missed out on a “position”… apparently not what I thought..😉🤪

Infidelity is shocking. And beyond the pale.

But monogamy is not a natural state.

This is a very funny thread.
Sounds contradictory for sure. I don’t think anyone believes monogamy is a natural lifelong state for humans, ergo we wouldn’t have so many divorces.

But it’s what we’ve established as the way for society to function at it’s optimum.

Infidelity is the result of living in the artificial construct that is marriage.

It’s not so much the infidelity that is cruel in this instance, it’s the lies and gaslighting he’s been putting out there, to both of his romantic parties.

So yeah, his behaviour is shocking, and monogamy isn’t a natural human state meant for life.

So not such a funny thread after all 😔

So he fell in love with two different people at the same time. Shock and horror.

Or being less kind he rebelled against the unnatural state of monogamy and followed the biological urge to “spread his seed”.

Either way infidelity is only a problem (giving rise to lies and duplicity) because society has decided it’s naughty and to be punished.

Chillax dudes. It’s all coooool.

That’s basically what I’m saying. The lies, duplicity and the gaslighting are the main problem.

Infidelity becomes a problem when you sign up to marriage and promise not to love any other. Of course that’s just not naturally sustainable for many.

Although I’m also doubting he fell in love with 2 women at once. He’s thrown one of them under the bus in an instant. I don’t think he loved either of them as much as he loves himself. It’s all about survival, an instinct much more natural than monogamy.

Yes but…

Lies and duplicity are only necessary because society has imposed an artificial set of values.

In other words it’s the belief system that’s the problem. Not the lies etc. They are a symptom.

I agree that the imposed artificial set of values is the catalyst. But once you’ve signed up to a marriage contract you can still behave with honesty, even if you want to leave the marriage and start a relationship with another.

To continue a double life with lies, betrayal and gaslighting is morally wrong in my opinion . It breaks minds as well as hearts.
