Surely a positive sign this?
Certainly is.Surely a positive sign this?
I told myself but forgot to pass it on.Told everyone before he signed in the summer he'd be staying in January.
We won't pay anything for him when we can get him in summer for free. He can't play for anyone else other than us and Huddersfield this season now and no one is going to pay for someone now that can't play for them. We might face some competition for him in the summer, but if he's is as happy here as he says and his family is all settled then we would defo be front runners.Wouldn't be surprised if a deal isn't on the table for a permanent transfer now, to release some wages and offset the transfer fee, estimated around 1.2
Becomes more about speed of thought as you get older and less about working for it. Play to his strengths and he's got some years left.JR is a great fit for us, but age has caught up with him (as it does with us all) & he's no longer a Championship striker.
He wouldn't help keep Udders from the drop, but he'll help us reach the playoffs.
JR loves being a key player at BFC & wouldn't want to return to Udders to make up the squad numbers.
It's a win win win.

Depends on the system . Give him the ball and he ll finish it .JR is a great fit for us, but age has caught up with him (as it does with us all) & he's no longer a Championship striker.

I hope age catches up with him as quick as that spring chicken who recently signed for Hull.JR is a great fit for us, but age has caught up with him (as it does with us all) & he's no longer a Championship striker.

He also could get a signing on bonus from us. Wouldn't be massive but a few thousand chucked on top of his wages can be moaned at.Players can sign pre-contracts when they’ve got 6 months left so why would Rhodes want to sign for us now? If he stays on loan he keeps receiving his full Huddersfield wage, but could sign a pre-contract for us or any other club now for the summer (where he’s likely to have to take a pay cut)
Not in the same country. Only abroad and that includes Scotland. Same country is 1 month priorPlayers can sign pre-contracts when they’ve got 6 months left so why would Rhodes want to sign for us now? So, could well be the case that the whole continuing saga pans out in precisely the way all parties would like to see!I never thought Rhodes would fit with Critchley’s style of play but proved largely wrong on that. However, I cannot see him getting much joy playing in the championship tbh he isn’t good enough all round.
It’s 1 month prior .. 6 months applies to clubs abroad. Hence why villareal got Diaz from blackburn even though he could have easily gone to the prem.He also could get a signing on bonus from us. Wouldn't be massive but a few thousand chucked on top of his wages can be moaned at.
