Could do with Reading doing us a favour at home to Derby and Barnsley v Oxford being a draw. Can’t see anything than a home win for Bolton v Cheltenham though unfortunately
I mentioned that Cheltenham had turned a corner when they put up a spirited performce against us.Could do with Reading doing us a favour at home to Derby and Barnsley v Oxford being a draw. Can’t see anything than a home win for Bolton v Cheltenham though unfortunately
Gaining 1 point isn’t much better in my opinion than a defeat, it’s wins that move you placesYeh Derby & Bolton both have what look like straight forward 3 points. The big one for us is Barnsley v Oxford who are our main two targets! Agree a draw would be best, however, someone has to drop points and they will both lose a game in hand!
Still think we were below par that night……. it was nearly a case for their fans to sing “3-0 and you fcuked it up”I mentioned that Cheltenham had turned a corner when they put up a spirited performce against us.
You wouldn’t have it and blamed Pool for a below par performance.
They were rock bottom and 6 points adrift of the next team.
Well I wouldn’t bet heavily on a Bolton win tonight. They have done OK since!
In other words and in our position 3 points are essential not drawsGaining 1 point isn’t much better in my opinion than a defeat, it’s wins that move you places
Every team tends to go through a sticky patch during a season it's how they respond and how quickly that is the big factor. Also, injuries to key players will hurt the teams who lack depth in their squad. We've come through a hectic schedule with players coming back from injury and the addition of Coulson who looks a step up from Thompson. It’s about this time of the season that those teams who are going to wobble start wobbling.
Let the wobbling commence

We definitely have the depth that other teams don’t have. A midweek break is also ideal for us before a tough game on Saturday……let’s hope Charlton pick up a few injuries tonight and maybe even have a couple sent offEvery team tends to go through a sticky patch during a season it's how they respond and how quickly that is the big factor. Oh dear, looks like we won’t be welcoming Appleton on Saturday!Charlton losing already
They were just a spoiling team, Bristol Rovers were the best team I’ve seen at Bloomfield Road this seasonNorthampton are the best side I have seen us play against this season, its no surprise they are on a really good run and just one place behind us in the table.
Nah, they sussed us out and played really well, they thoroughly deserved their win, that's not to say Rovers weren't decent, they were and again no surprise they are only 2 places behind us.They were just a spoiling team, Bristol Rovers were the best team I’ve seen at Bloomfield Road this season
Good, Barnsley a much better side. We can catch Oxford easily, they're only still up there because of their great start to the seasonOxford 0 Barnsley 1
Peterborough for me, they moved the ball so quickly.Northampton are the best side I have seen us play against this season, its no surprise they are on a really good run and just one place behind us in the table.
Cobblers won it 90 +7That should have been a last minute pen to Northampton.
Yeah, justice done although it probably means Appleton will get potted.Cobblers won it 90 +7
Dunno but he‘ll be looking for one in the morning!Appleton is the gift that keeps on giving. Genuinely now does he keep getting jobs
Probably just got to finish above Oxford and Stevenage into sixth as Junior says. Stop worrying about the other five, if some of them come back all well and good. And then, bring it on. I know Stevenage have games in hand but it looks possible (at least after a glass of Scotland's finest).
concussion sub?Derby made 6 subs tonight Thought it was a maximum of 5
And still ended up with 10 on the pitch when John-Jules was injured late on.Derby made 6 subs tonight Thought it was a maximum of 5
