on the wing? Sinclair and Ince? I would put them both after them threeBeen far more better players than Josh.

that's not the point Hazi was making. He is talking specifically about wingers and the art of dribbling. But of course your negativity will want to ruin a tribute thread. Shame really.Been far more better players than Josh.
Ince and Phillips were fast wingers, brilliant at running onto opportunities. Josh is a Matthews winger, taking the ball up to the defenders and taking them on. Different styles.on the wing? Sinclair and Ince? I would put them both after them three
I’ve got the same feeling. Some players are just at ‘home’ are certain clubs. I think he’ll come to realise that. Why do I get the feeling we haven't seen the last of him in a Blackpool shirt?
I don't know what gives me that impression. Just a hunch I guess.
You did see Tony Green obviously in previous posts. Josh is a good player but to say great. Not a chance.that's not the point Hazi was making. He is talking specifically about wingers and the art of dribbling. But of course your negativity will want to ruin a tribute thread. Shame really.

A classy player and a classy individual. He meant what he said, as others have said it’s a pity someone else didn’t have as much class. No less than I expected from him…. He’s a classy player and you can see that he just loves to play football.
It would have been easy to go all sulky when his move didn’t work out in January, but instead he got his head down and hit a purple patch
Sad to see him go, but he deserves his move and will hopefully get the opportunity to shine.

Josh wasn't either really in the formation used today. If you think he was one of the best you've seen then that's fantastic. Personally seen better. He would of thrived in the 70-80s with style of play but as we saw on Wednesday Troverers marked him out of the game. But Hazi was talking about wingers, Green wasn't a winger.
Yeah thanks, whatever, so proud we've been a stepping stone to you not even making the Forest squad.View attachment 12709View attachment 12708
"You've installed the confidence back in me and for that I am forever grateful"
So long Josh, hope you go on to do great things - we all know you can!
Bittersweet or just Bitter ?Yeah thanks, whatever, so proud we've been a stepping stone to you not even making the Forest squad.
I just don't like all this 'thanks you're just the best' bollocks. Footballers will sell their own gran if their agent tells them to.Bittersweet or just Bitter ?
This is true. So maybe the best you’re allowed to hope for is they give everything and provide some excitement whilst they’re here, and say a few nice things when they go.I just don't like all this 'thanks you're just the best' bollocks. Footballers will sell their own gran if their agent tells them to.
Wishful thinking. After all, Brett came back HOME, so why not Josh? Why do I get the feeling we haven't seen the last of him in a Blackpool shirt?
I don't know what gives me that impression. Just a hunch I guess.
So all footballers are the same? Good manners, courtesy generosity of spirit and gratitude count for nothing if you`re a footballer.I just don't like all this 'thanks you're just the best' bollocks. Footballers will sell their own gran if their agent tells them to.
The way football is these days im not sure we will have anyone for long enough to say they are a great. If we have someone for 1 season who’s mustard they get offered big dough they’re off.Without having read all the posts in details, seems to be a bit of a debate about how good or great he was.
I don’t think he was here long enough to be classed as a Blackpool great. But he certainly produced lots of great moments and memories, I’m happy with that
Yep that’s true enough. I’d class CA as a great though and he was only here for 2 and a half years. But because of what the team achieved, and how central to it he was, he’s a Blackpool greatThe way football is these days im not sure we will have anyone for long enough to say they are a great. Yep, It`s sad but that`s how it is for a club like Blackpool in the current financial climate in football with no sign of any change. The way football is these days im not sure we will have anyone for long enough to say they are a great. If we have someone for 1 season who’s mustard they get offered big dough they’re off.

It is - just compare with Critch !!Class
!But Hazi was talking about wingers, Green wasn't a winger.
I totally agree Charlie is the last all time great he used to win us games on his own.Yep that’s true enough. I’d class CA as a great though and he was only here for 2 and a half years. But because of what the team achieved, and how central to it he was, he’s a Blackpool great
Transformed? He's gone to Forest and then immediately out on loan, he's better than that and he was better off here, except for the money, which I don't blame him for, but all this sentiment is just pointless. He won't play in the Premier League for them, so career wise what was the point? So all footballers are the same? Good manners, courtesy generosity of spirit and gratitude count for nothing if you`re a footballer.
His career was going badly, in the wrong direction and no doubt he wondered if he was going to make it or not till he came here. At Blackpool his future has been transformed and he is thrilled and eternally grateful and has had the courtesy and gratitude to express his feelings. Good for him.
I for one am happy to believe he is sincere .
What a sad cynical world anyone lives in if they can`t do that and just accept his gracious words at face value..
We have a 25% sell on… So I suppose it affects us to the extent that we stand to gain If he’s successful and moves on.Transformed? I wish him health and happiness, he seems like a nice fella, but I couldn't care less about his career, it doesn't effect me or the club at all any more.
Fair point, ok, I care about that bit.We have a 25% sell on… So I suppose it affects us to the extent that we stand to gain If he’s successful and moves on.
Don’t let me stop you…. It makes me feel better about my own dickishnessFair point, ok, I care about that bit.
Maybe I'm being a dick, but fuck it...
Is that not the case in any industry ?The way football is these days im not sure we will have anyone for long enough to say they are a great. If we have someone for 1 season who’s mustard they get offered big dough they’re off.
Big loss few players like Bowler exciting to watch and how football should be. All the best JoshGood luck for the future Josh, you’re dribbling skills were a joy to watch, and I hope they are never discouraged as it seems to be an art form very rarely seen nowadays.
I am worried Forest ain't the right move for him, but I do think he has the ability to do great things - I certainly hope it works out for him anyway.Yeah thanks, whatever, so proud we've been a stepping stone to you not even making the Forest squad.
Could he be an Ormerod 2.0?Why do I get the feeling we haven't seen the last of him in a Blackpool shirt?
I don't know what gives me that impression. Just a hunch I guess.
And then you woke up Q would be nice to think he would but I think like wes we will just admire him doing well somewhere else with fond memories of what he did here.I’ve got the same feeling. Some players are just at ‘home’ are certain clubs. I think he’ll come to realise that.
All the best to him in the meantime. Loved watching him play
