Bowler's farewell

No less than I expected from him…. He’s a classy player and you can see that he just loves to play football.

It would have been easy to go all sulky when his move didn’t work out in January, but instead he got his head down and hit a purple patch 👍

Sad to see him go, but he deserves his move and will hopefully get the opportunity to shine.

A lovely and touching tribute and farewell it even bought a tear to my rheumy eye . As someone said a real lesson to Critchley to learn how to say goodbye after successful times here.

I wish him well and hope he goes on to a great career.

Can't help think we should have matched his wages until January. What would that be...300k, probably the size of a loan fee.

I mean, what's the point of having the money in the bank losing 10% pa?

Are we sure that's Josh's official twitter? Isn't this one his official one? You can see the most recent tweet at the top which was his apology for his performance a few weeks back.

Why do I get the feeling we haven't seen the last of him in a Blackpool shirt?

I don't know what gives me that impression. Just a hunch I guess.

josh you have given us nothing but good memories
football fans can be fickle
at blackpool we are not when someone performs like yourself and behaves in the way you do
you have handled yourself with class and dignity
you probably will never have such supportive fans again so cherish the memories just as we do
you are not the first blackpool legend to to greece derek spence went a similar path

Really really pis... peeved I never got to see him play in the flesh (no not like that you pervs!) geography and ill health prevented it. It was good while it lasted and all the best to the man.

another classy finish from bowler.

thank you josh for being a proper footballer and professional, and thank you for all the thrills along the way (there were plenty but fulham home and away was pretty special).

i hope you can progress and realise your full potential. good luck.

The club has done the right thing because he was going to go at some point. And it's still early in the season.

Last season was my first season as a Blackpool fan. Bowler set a high standard, to say the least. What a player. He'll be missed, but I'm excited to see his career progress.

Top class guy & player, with fantastic, magic feet.
I look forward to seeing how Josh's career progresses & wish him every success.
Thanks for the ride Josh, you've been brilliant.
