Just wondering if calderwood was behind pools defence last season and success
our back 4 isn’t right at the moment and the team is lacking qualily for this league
also wondering if pool went up a year to early for the board , maybe wasn’t expecting it ,and not bringing in a right back as well is to me , amateur , especially for the championship level
 
We have to concede that the spine which won us promotion was Ballard, Embleton and Simms - the fact is we haven’t replaced them.
BTW - the crowd is amazing!
 
maybe Its not a bad thing that Tangerine T.V has crashed the home page... save my £10 for a bit later when they know what they re doing

There's little doubt that Calderwood was responsible for the defensive improvements.
 
Need someone behind yates and lavery.
Keogh and husband just doesnt work.
Need a right back cause connolly seems to be afraid of the right hand side when they’re attacking.
Need to stop playing back to Maxwell cause already it looks like we’ve been worked out
 
What I will say is it’s good after some of the bloody awful defensive sides who came to Blackpool last season and put 10 men behind the ball, it is refreshing to see a good, exciting attacking side.

That said, this was the same scenario for Coventry on Saturday at Barnsley and they still lost 1-0. They don’t seem to have that goalscorer that could have seen them out of sight.

Ironically after praying for half time, it wouldn’t be a bad thing to get another 5 minutes here!!
 
I cannot believe none of the officials haven't seen that. That is disgusting. It wasn't even close. It was a full arm outstretched batted into the goal.
 
We started to look miles better after our shambolic period then, causing Coventry problems and having a couple of really good chances so that is a sickening way to be 1 down at half time.

If Coventry had scored earlier in the half I'd take it on the chin but that goal was a ** joke.

We have been shocking, poor tactics again from the manager

Keshi Anderson is a lazy ** who keeps giving the ball away and doesn't chase back

442 against a 3421 just doesn't work getting dominated
