37 years young
Critchley spots young talent and improves it, that is his strength
No chance that this will happen

We have tried this sort of thing before and it usually hasn't worked well, off the top of my head,
Bardsley, Sheedy, O Hara, Alan Ball, McDougall, Sumerbee etc.

The only one that did work well was Kevin Phillips from what I can remember
A star looking at retirement and a last pay day rarely comes good at any club IMO
So no thanks from me
He was happy to sign Keogh

Oh, it's absolutely fascinating when people comment on footballers they haven't actually seen play. It's like they've unlocked some sort of infinite knowledge and can pass judgment on their skills without ever witnessing a single minute of action. These virtuosos of faux expertise are masters at conjuring up elaborate opinions based solely on hearsay, statistical analysis, and YouTube highlights. Who needs the tedious task of actually watching games when you can simply rely on second-hand information? I mean, why bother forming an opinion based on firsthand experience when you can regurgitate clichés and spout offwell-rehearsed arguments? Because we all know that there's nothing quite as satisfying as pretending to be an authority on a subject you have zero real knowledge about. Bravo, my dear armchair critic. Your insight is truly unparalleled.
You really should stop talking about yourself

He'd be a great addition. Make an offer in line with our wage structure and if he comes then great.
More likely to go to Rotherham or Derby - so he'd be able to live at home.

Whilst you are right re our traditional signing model, I would say:

1. We could do with another striker
2. Someone who could hit the ground running right away and is experienced
3. He’s scored god knows how many league goals

It’s a yes from me.

Not for me I'm afraid too old and too slow. It's young hungry players we need.
The myth that you need experienced old players in the team was started by experienced old players who wanted another season or two before retiring.
