Another Brexit success

Nope, not a wild assumption or nonsense at all. As I said it's your default position. Deflect away but it's stating the obvious that you would be critical of it if our Govt did the same..
Not a assumption? You've used the word if.

Hypothetical.

Spain are bringing this in. Huge difference.

please be accurate. It may be an assumption but it's certainly not a "wild" one which you conveniently don't now use. It's pretty much guaranteed that if the UK Govt brought in this ruling then you would be highly critical of it. Like I said, either way you choose to be critical of this country rather than the Spanish. And as I said that's your default position.

You're talking utter gibberish. You're taking a completely hypothetical situation that won't happen, or if it does, has no impact on me whatsoever, and assuming I'd be outraged by it.

Just sit back a moment and accept it's completely hypothetical, in complete contrast to what will happen to British holidaymakers in the most popular overseas destination.

I'm critical of the Spanish on this but accept it's a consequence of our own decision to leave the EU. They are simply applying the laws that apply to non EU citizens. Those that mean you have to demonstrate the need to support yourself as we no longer have reciprocal agreements.

Hang on a mo, that's the first time you've mentioned being critical of the Spanish. which was my point in the first place..

It's not good for us, but that's what happens when you leave a barrier free area. You come up to barriers

Funny how we never hear stories about this when it comes to Australian, South African and other new world wines.

Oh well, if the French don't want to sell us their wine, I'm sure others will be happy to step up to the plate.
Wine is just an example, it applies to all goods going both ways across the Channel. As we have seen.
British fishing industry? What industry?
I blame the French. But they have been triggered by Brexit.

It appears that the Portuguese are allowing Brits through their green line on passport control as are the Spanish, so it does seem the French are the proverbial party poopers.

Oh and Wiz, the story about all the food and drink heading for a party you referred to was a complete hoax put on some site by a raving left wing nutcase, according to what I read yesterday. I'm surprised you fell for that one along with a lot of other gullible people.
