So sorry to here of your sad loss. Steve was a great cricketer as well (we played together at Thornton Cleveleys and we did the Wyre Camping Trips many times with our schools). A true gentleman who did so much for sport and football in the area.

Everyone who has taken the rise out of walking football (through ignorance) has really struggled to come to terms with
the game when they have had a go.
Think "chess on legs". You have to be at least 2 moves ahead of the ball you played. Stand still and you are out of the game

Walking Football - it's what it says on the tin !
The runners need pulling up, Electric. I know it will make it a bit stop-start but WF is a different concept to Vets Football
and the pace needs to be set early on so new players become acquainted with the rules. It also reduces injuries and allows for the less fit to compete fairly.

Fitter faster lads need to find a fitter faster form of football. Otherwise the pure walkers will not be able to book on as they are blocking the system and we will never be able to re-build the competitive side either.
It isn't rocket science.
Thats OK guys as long as folk don't want a full hour of activity. Had problems at the 4.30 sessions a long time ago when
players were asked to wait off court.
