Lee Scratch Perry, November 2019 Brewery Arts Centre Kendal. Great venue, the stage is basically floor level, intimate enough for him to groove and share some ‘ Bob Hope’ with you! Hero of Heroes!

Took my missus there to see the Hamsters years ago plus an overnight stay/meal out etc (which sold it to her I think) we were stood right at the front of the very low stage, I don't think she knew what hit her they were bloody loud. I'll remind her about it later & see if she still moans about the volume. Let's hope we can start doing these things again soon or I'll go nuts, she can take her ear plugs, mine are now self regulating, pardon, what did you say?

I was really sorry to hear of Dave Greenfield's death from Covid back at the beginning of this nightmare
I saw the Stranglers several times, most recently about five years ago supporting Simple Minds at the O2 in London

Very sad and he was a unique talent -forerunners in the new wave of bands at the time.
