Bottle of 2003 Montbazillac with the venison pate for lunch. Currently having some mulled wine with mince pies. A nice Gewurztraminer chilling to have with the smoked salmon and asparagus, then a 2018 Cotes de Castillon with the roast lamb. Port with the cheese then a Calvados for a digestif, and bed!

I bet he's sat on his arse like Jim Royale with everyone running around after him! Visited my mum in her nursing home this morning till lunchtime, back, open pressies and then been preparing this evenings dinner, first drink about to be made. Happy Christmas MacWTF? Who do you think you are Marco Pierre White?!!
I've only managed half a bottle of Henry Weston's Dry vintage cider. Too busy after a morning foraging all for the obligatory white truffles to be shaved over the fois gras...................
Fancy get!Had nowt yet, just about to make a Gin Martini, Plymouth Gin and Dolin Vermouth shaken over ice with a dash of orange bitters and an olive.
Got everyone here tomorrow so making Christmas dinner then, Cockerel again, magic. I've just finished making a Beef Wellington for later with home made Dauphinoise potatoes and some buttered greens and a Port beef sauce.
Haha, no Mac, I do all the cooking but the wine is carried over till tomorrow.WTF? Who do you think you are Marco Pierre White?!!
