Bar the puddles, I thought it suited our style of play on Saturday.
We have artificial fibres sown into the pitch at Bloomfield Road as does Wembley and many other pitches. It’s not allowed in the football league anyway but no from me as well.
Not in the 2nd half it didn't.Bar the puddles, I thought it suited our style of play on Saturday.
I’m sorry, but “Great Source Of Income”?The quality of them has increased massively, and as their chairman said, it's used over 100hrs a week.
Great source of income - the FL need to reconsider.
I thought it was a white BMW that Brad Potts shat on, not a black LagunaNO . DEFINITELY NOT. didnt the creatures from the black lagoon have one at dumpdale.
Agree they are not suitable for EFL.I’m sorry, but “Great Source Of Income”?
So what!!
It might also be a great source of income to put greenhouses on the pitch and grow tomatoes all year round, but it’s not what it’s intended for!!
They were banned for good reason and they ruin the game… A massive NO
I don’t see it as a valid trade off for any team tbh. The priority purpose of any Club’s pitch should be for use on Matchday.Agree they are not suitable for EFL.
But at National League and below, the income from hiring out such pitches enables clubs to remain in business and also run lots of junior teams giving kids an introduction to the game and regular exercise.
And the football played on these pitches in the National League and down to level 7 is ok. You have to get the ball down and play. You can’t simply hoof it.
Noticed Marvin checking his arse for damage after one of his sliding blocks on saturday..Not a chance. Football is played on grass. Can't do a sliding challenge
Look at the footage of Lavery's goal. The ball was bobbling like mad.
I think they can feature but should always be drawn away.I don’t see it as a valid trade off for any team tbh. The priority purpose of any Club’s pitch should be for use on Matchday.
Any decent standard of football should be played on grass imo. To that extent I’d ban any club with plastic from featuring in the FA cup for a start.
I think they can feature but should always be drawn away.
It’s a clear advantage, we did well Saturday to win the game 1st half on it.
lolI thought it was a white BMW that Brad Potts shat on, not a black Laguna
