Further from a return than Virtue. Hasn't Virtue been back "on the grass" for a few weeks. What about Ward?

Also brought back Antwi, think James was injured?we’ve got 2 weeks to get a new CM or get one of the existing ones fit and ready.
Otherwise it’ll be either Connelly or James
I'll play!Anyone still got their boots?
We're a bit thin on the ground in midfield
Bloody hope so!!I think Connolly will surprise a few given a run of games
That must be true to a great extent. We will be looking to move some players on though, and I'm sure other clubs will too. Prem clubs will have some lads who really need proper football after half a season of non competitive stuff and who are simply not ready for the EPL. For example.Remember when we lost Shelvey back to Liverpool early a few years back?
I think the clause has always been in there, they don't usually get activated because the players are usually not part of the first team picture at their parent club, but sometimes you get a spate of injuries and that changes.
I think clubs are going to have a tough time signing new players this window, clubs are going to call back pretty much anyone who might be on the fringe of the first team, possibly the situation will stabilise at the end of the month and there might be some movement then but that's far from certain.
Antwi not good enough, seen enough already. Big loss Wintle would be a great addition if we could get him, a proper footballer. Also brought back Antwi, think James was injured?
New manager reassessment period. Might decide not to keep them. I bet he's told them all he wants to look at them all and work out his 25 for Feb 1st onwards. All Cardiff loanees have been called back
He's been playing competitive matches for Telford and likely to go back out on loan this month I suspect.I think Antwi can make it given time and patience. He needs to make more appearances off the bench though to develop in competitive matches
Why have they bothered recalling Wintle then?Perhaps, Morison will have a look at Wintle and, if he doesn't see him as what he needs, or signs someone else, let him come back later in January. Probably not but you never know!

Because of what I said. Why have they bothered recalling Wintle then?
They will have had their club watching him over the season.
They know hes a decent player and with covid not going away for some time he'll be a great addition to their squad.
Of course. For now at least. See how January pans out. Omicron may fizzle out. It's all down to the unknown and uncertain situation.Alternatively they want as many bodies as possible in case of further Covid outbreaks.
Big cog in the wheel gone
When he came to us I read something that suggested he was keen to get back to the north west, having not really settled in south Wales. Which may or may not be true obviously! But sounds like it might be.Wrote a really nice piece on Insta saying Blackpool will always have a place in his heart but (understandably) then wrote a post saying they need to get stadiums back and full again in Wales. I get the feeling his heart is in Cardiff.
