The model whereby some teams get extra money cos sky fancies that match is stupid. TV companies literally giving a competitive advantage to the teams they believe are more marketable to audiences. That's mentalism in a game that also has video refereeing because we can't actually enjoy it in case someone has a shoelaces worth of competitive advantage.
