Bunch of negative Nellies desperate to be proved right that Critchley isn't good enough. That's more important than the team being successful.Talking to some non-Blackpool supporting mates at the weekend and the comments were:
“You’re right in there”
“You’ve a great chance”
“I can see you getting in the Play Offs”
“You should get in the Top 6”
So my question is, why have so many fans written this season off?
Whilst I get what you are saying, we are literally 3 points away from a play off spot after 39 games - we are right there in terms of playoff form.Because we've been watching the football that we have produced and the lack of consistency to go with it. Can't see us suddenly producing the required form to finish in the top 6.
The three games at home is what gives me hope and is the reason I think we will do it .I certainly haven’t given up
A slim chance is better than no hope
And when you look at the run of games after Derby, 3 at home and Carlisle away we have every chance of bring right back in the thick of it
Yet have scored more goals than Lincoln Stevenage and OxfordBecause we have watched the matches, and know how inconsistent the team is and we create fewer opportunities than most at the top end of the table

And also get ready for “If only Critchley had listened to us earlier we’d have gone up automatically”.Bunch of negative Nellies desperate to be proved right that Critchley isn't good enough. That's more important than the team being successful.
If we do manage it, get ready for 'It's going to be embarrassing getting thrashed every week'.
I did but I also went to Shrewsbury and Peterborough where we looked very much a top 6 team…. Anyone who attended Wigan away would understand the negativity. We do not in any way look a promotion team.
Yep I also went to Shrewsbury and wasn’t impressed with the game but was glad of the 3 pointsI also went to Shrewsbury… the Shrews were a dreadful side so there was nothing to get excited about in that performance for me .
Thereby lies the frustration. There's inconsistency but our jekyll & hyde performances go beyond that. Surely Critchley must have a say in that.I did but I also went to Shrewsbury and Peterborough where we looked very much a top 6 team
I think the fact that the only hope left is we'll scrape into 6th place PROVES that Critchley isn't good enough!Bunch of negative Nellies desperate to be proved right that Critchley isn't good enough. That's more important than the team being successful.

Bore off Nobber.I think it's probably boils down to the fact we are absolute shit made even shitter by the pathetic, out of date, useless formation that we play.
Any away game where a team wins comfortably, regardless of opposition, is a solid top 6 performance. I wasn't excited but it was good.I also went to Shrewsbury… the Shrews were a dreadful side so there was nothing to get excited about in that performance for me .
Sorry Junior. Didn't want to hurt your feelings by saying the truth and that the formation and tactics this season have been a disaster.Bore off Nobber.
Where has this info come from?!!Rhodes is out for the rest of the season and weve got nobody else that can score goals
We beat them on their own pitch so nothing to shudder about. We could very well get into the play-offs but I shudder at the thought of playing Peterborough on that massive Wembley pitch.
We just aren't good enough this season IMO. I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually think the best thing for us would be to stay down and rebuild in the summer ready for a proper push next season.
tigger we are pony pal let’s face reality and we are very poor in the recruiting department and have know strength in depth that can come off the bench and change a game sorry to say it me old china face reality.I certainly haven’t given up

... Whilst still managing to look like a very limited, pedestrian, workmanlike, midtable side - at best.Yet have scored more goals than Lincoln Stevenage and Oxford
'So this is now a test of our team spirit and NC needs to stop playing safe and let the players go for it ...'In answer to the OP's question: It's all in the mind.
It's a human instinct not to build yourself up for a fall.
We're still in the mix and there are always freek results during the run in.
The team who fights the hardest will be the team that succeeds. So this is now a test of our team spirit and NC needs to stop playing safe and let the players go for it.

Agree entirely - there's still no reason we can't get 18 from 21 - which should be enough, but the tactics to date make that very unlikely.'So this is now a test of our team spirit and NC needs to stop playing safe and let the players go for it ...'
But his mental conditioning is such that, he possesses neither the will, nor the inclination, required to enable him to take that step - as anyone who was present at the Wigan game will attest. As things stand, the one thing that would possibly help facilitate such a development would be the presence of a strong-minded number 2, but, since the days of McCall and Calderwood, such entities are nowhere to be found - hence our current predicament ...
Bore off Nobber.
I don’t think the formation suits us but it is hardly ‘out of date’ is it?I think it's probably boils down to the fact we are absolute shit made even shitter by the pathetic, out of date, useless formation that we play.
