Now then there use to be a chant on the terrace’s at Bloomfield Road singing Simon Sadler is one of our own now that Simon has owned the club for a few years now I was just interested to here what the fans thoughts are regarding him owning our great club in 2024.all so is he turning out to be a great investor of our great club or has the long belated honey period of owning a football club finally simmered down and is it turning out that Sadler is our dream owner and has the ambition to take the club back to the championship and hopefully one day back to the Promise land.

Michael, what is your terribly written email trying to achieve?
There is know need for this Luker as you are obviously the new keyboard warrior there is know need to get Personal neither what are you trying to achieve by this if you got the balls to say who you are fine if not keep your mouth shut I know who you are as well so do your self a favour and behave ok I have noticed that the very few posts that I have put un here resently that you are trawling my posts and have nothing nice to say ok.o and cheers Mosser thanks me old Pal.does any body else that posts on here know Luker by any chance the new name dropper on this site

I think he's doing the best he can for the club, has invested massively but has been badly advised along the way.

Have a look at Reading and be careful what you wish for.
Probably the best objective analysis.

I'd add initially his investments in bringing the club up to scratch was also enhancing his investment. They increased the Clubs value.

Beyond that, the analysis kicks in.

I'm gonna say oyston as he wouldn't pay wifi bill and ground would be back to cash only... call me old skool. Also the pitch would be like a 1970s mud bath and would be great sliding challenges... yeah defo old stool

Oyston in sadler out 🤪

Yes. Faced with all the options available to us at the time, Simon was our dream owner.

As we stand today, I’d put it on record that I’m going for Margot Robbie as our dream owner, backed by Jeff Bezos money and the whole Man City board behind them, would be my dream owner.

There's no need for what, Michael? Asking you what it is that you are trying to achieve with your shit-stirring o/p?

Embarrassing this …

Stupid question as he hasn’t done much yet. He’s been relatively stable, focused and has more integrity than his predecessor but as far as accomplishments no new training ground or stand and we are in the old division three. He seems a slow learner as he’s repeated costly mistakes in his short time here so he’ll need another three years before we can gauge actions versus rhetoric.

Why is this post embarrassing are you another keyboard warrior that I have noticed since I came back posting a few posts there it would appear that you and Luker are vying for Pole position to become the new keyboard warriors on Aavftt 😉

He’s a grown man. Stop making excuses for him. Badly advised??? If he actually was a pool fan did he need advice to know he picked crap managers? Do you know any pool fan who didn’t know that?

It’s fine to say he picked crap managers (after the event)
I remember people welcoming Appleton back and likewise when McCarthy took the helm there were quite a few on here who said he was a good choice
We will only ever know if they are good or bad after they have been in situ for a few months.

Really you know pool fans who thought Appleton was a good pick? How about Grayson? And these fans you know are not wearing straight jackets?

He’s shown his commitment by getting us through the Covid pandemic and making a serious investment in the club. Yes, in most respects he is our dream owner. My only reservations are about his choice in managers but I think he has been badly advised.
Every owner got through the pandemic. No big serious investment as of yet. No training ground, no new stand, just modest maintenance and improvements. He’s doing ok.

If you were in the market for a football club at the time, Blackpool would have been a long way off first choice, as it was a basket case towards the end of the Oyston tenure.
Saudi princes weren’t queuing up around the block to buy, and we’ve been very lucky that we got a passionate supporter who was willing to invest at the time - I’m sure he was probably advised not to.
As others have said, good owner, probably been let down by some of his team but otherwise I’m glad he’s here.

Rather like Alf Tupper, he started the race a lap behind everyone else after eating fish and chips. Like Alf let's hope he comes out a winner at the end.
