Where do all you Remoaning posters who claim to be Left Wing stand on this?
Corbyn is a life long Brexiter, as are most of the Left Wing.

Yes it is an interesting stance, but should be no surprise. It is actually interesting - as somone who is right of centre and voted to remain...
I accept we are leaving but actually see the EU being in turmoil and arguing internaly about Corona as an opportunity to get a better deal.
Keep the date and if it comes to it, a no deal brexit will be a walk in the park compared to now!!
ps There is actually no such thing as a real no deal brexit as lots has been agreed already and negotiations would continue at pace on the 2nd Jan 2021!!!
I find it 'interesting' that you're not the Lefty you claim to be!Brexit! - With everything going on and a paridigm shift in values and outlook is it relevant anymore or indeed, of any interest?
Which Fascist Right ? as a matter of interest !Yes it is an interesting stance, but should be no surprise.
Corbyn and the True far Left have always been anti EU and the Fascist Right have been pro Europe since the end of the war.
Post war Moseley and other European Fascist Parties.Which Fascist Right ? as a matter of interest !

At first glance I thought this post was about a road trip with Mrs Lasher

Are you suggesting a Link between the fascists like Hitler, Mussolini, Franco and their attempt at dominating Europe in WW II - and the European Union ?Post war Moseley and other European Fascist Parties.
(Europe a Nation was a policy developed by British Fascist politician Oswald Mosley as the cornerstone of his Union Movement. ... Although the idea failed to gain widespread support for the Union Movement, it nonetheless proved highly influential on the far-right thought in Europe.)
I'd provide a link to other sources but I'd be accused of Googling!
No, not the Axis powers. Are you suggesting a Link between the fascists like Hitler, Mussolini, Franco and their attempt at dominating Europe in WW II - and the European Union ?
Not all extremists Glass, I'm not aligned with the BBC or CatinStalingradNot surprising to see you aligned with all the extremists at all Don (winky emoji).
The BBC driving on the Right of the Autobahn!Ah yes the extremely Middle of the Road BBC.
I don't know but they're both hugely committed to the cause.Corbyn is a life long Brexiter, as are most of the Left Wing.
Some Remainers became Brexiters because they saw it as the only way they would get elected to lead their party ;-)
How many members does the Communist Party of Great Britain actually have ?
Extremely well put BRR.What unites the far left and far right is their bigotry, intolerance and ideological paralysis. They are the same kind of people, gleaning their politics from their lack of education, empathy, intelligence and humanity.
In this country, if there is a difference, I would say that the far right are far more interested in winning and exercising power. Our far left are a very poor debating society, trying to win arguments with themselves - and mostly losing.

Enjoyed your post Pool, I ended up studying sociology at A Level because"they" wouldn't let me do English and I think they needed to make the numbers up in Sociolgy. It was a new subject back then in the mid 70's, and lessons were, to begin with, delivered by a teacher of music, who liked a drink. It was derided as a "Mickey Mouse" subject at the time, probably still is, however, it allowed my mind to open up to concepts that the standard curriculum didn't offer (at A Level, that was a conveyor belt designed to get pupils to University). The Fascism/Communism example is familiar - both eventually demand total subservience of the populace, draconian punishment for dissidents and total control over industrial and other activities - ie everyone is a civil servant. My favourite Sociology lesson took place in the Winmarith , 10.30am with halves of Wilsons "Great" Northern Bitter to stimulate our little grey cells - we never saw that teacher againPosted this before on other site but it's something that has stuck with me all my life.
Studied Sociology and in my first lesson the teacher gave us all a blank piece of paper and told us at one end to write Fascism and at the other end Communism.
He then told us to hold up the paper and make it into a cone so Fascism/Communism where next to each other.
You are made to think that they are both far apart when actually they are quite close together.
