This is probably more for the O/T thread (my comment) but I wonder what the Russians think of this ban from football competitions, Olympics - even Eurovision. It's almost like the great unmentioned. Even if you were 100% behind Putin, you would question why the world hates you?

Must say I'm pleased the Poles have progressed - I'm on a mini break there in 3rd week of June and will add a bit more to watching the games

There will thousand of Poland fans at their games, Tang…I was stationed near Hannover in 2006 and they had at least 30000 in the zentrum.

I actually feel sorry for those athletes at their peak in their mid 20's who are unable to represent their country because of that idiot.
However Eurovision is a bit fairer without all the countries in their shadows not giving Russia 12 points for fear of being blown up!!
