After the relegation season it was nice to both not be looking over our shoulders at the drop zone and to go to home games believing we would win.

I enjoyed watching a lot of home games too. Some games we really turned it on and Dembele was a true delight.

For - Home results, Dembele, decision on Training ground.
Against - Style of play, entertainment, away form, 5-3-2, tactics, Critchley, Dougal leaving, Norburn arriving, Injuries, lack of playing time for players who are infinitely better than those Critch picked, SS backing Critchley to the hilt and giving him next season too!

Not wasting huge amounts of money on away games watching dire performances.

Not done one away game this season and that’s a first in over 55 years of watching the Pool.

Be the same next season with this clown in charge.
Only done 3 myself and sacked off quite a few home games as well. Only positive for me was the atmosphere in the North stand for the cup games

1.) Hearing the North out sing everyone and even getting the OAP's in the west to rattle their flasks on the very odd occasion.
2.) Watching Dembele grow from a fragile, 15min show pony into a promising young player, with a decent career ahead of him.
3.) Seeing SS put a serious amount of his own money into a new training ground and away stand for the future growth of the club
4.) Home and away support.....according to some, it's been a shit season.....but the fans still turned up?...and they will continue to do so.

I'm one of those that wants to give Critch another season to 'build' a team and push for promotion
So for me, there's a massive pressure on the club to achieve this....
Hopefully you're bright enough to understand that the club we support, doesn't just walk a league because you think we should.......
If were playing Bolton next season....Will they sack Evatt....or let him have another go?

SO......This "should" be an exciting 3 months....New players that understand they are playing to targets
IF......Critch isn't achieving those targets.....It's then obvious what will happen

But give the guy a F###ing chance......it's only been 9 months since he joined.
Half the people complaining are only doing so because they cant get a free Peroni on match days or SS shagged their wife.

Some of you go on about supporting the club for 20, 30 or 40 years.....Only wanting the best for the club...
Maybe giving someone 1 full season to build a team that can get promotion is a short amount of time in the grand scheme of things.

Promotion and were all happy.....if he doesn't achieve it...or doesn't look like he's going to achieve it.....I am 100% behind the correct decision.
But relying on what's going on in your head...or in your 'opinion' isn't a way to run a football club

Stop preening! Just because you're sensible. I can only afford to do ticks these days so I went to Exeter, Oxford, Cambridge and Cheltenham.

Great home form

Dembele - in a parallel universe we sign him, build a squad around him and win the Champions League in the next decade.
Absolute gem of a footballer, who put the ball into spaces which at the top level with better players reading the game as well as he does, opens up defenses all over the place.

Some good atmospheres on occasions.

CJ getting his own, well deserved, chant.

Kenny Dougall being a brilliant servant.

Spending huge amounts of time with my boys. When every game is an away game; the time spent with them is just a blessing.

Fleetwood and their owner going down. 👋

Firestick fans finally getting recognition and having their own club dialogue - the simple things about having more time without the increasingly obscure dribble from Chisnall being a great first win. We need to keep up the pressure when Sky take over.

Home results! but not enjoyable to watch.
Attendance’s considering how poor it is to watch.
Bolton, Reading & Barnsley (for 55 minutes) at home.
Dembele, Rhodes plus one or two others in patches.
Finally the fact that this season’s ended.

Bolton at home was good. Thats about it.

Got to tick off Bristol Rovers and Cambridge’s ground off the list from a personal standpoint

More positives than most on here would have you believe so for me ;

1. The home form in the league was sensational, 14 wins 6 draws and just 3 loses is no mean feat at any level

2. Being competitive and playing for possible promotion right the way through and were never out of it until the full time whistle on the final day.

3. Near enough doubling last seasons tally for league wins

4. Some class players this year like dembele, Rhodes, coulson and Byers. Ik they’re all on loan but hopefully we’ll get one or two at least on permanent deals.

5. Great numbers of support especially at home.

6. 18 clean sheets in the league, can’t be many times where we’ve managed that many.

7. Official plans for training ground and east stand near enough underway at last

8. Winning quite a few that pleasantly surprised us, such as posh and Pompey away, hammering Bolton at home, taking a prem side to two 2-2 draws over 90 minute periods.

9. Adding some stability to the board of directors and not in a position of needing a clear out of the higherarchy like we did at end of last season.

10. Another season of stability overall under Simon Sadler who delivered competitive, top end of league one football where we were one win away from a play off spot whilst also getting the ball rolling with projects off the field as well. Also no chance of financial hardship or off field turmoil like reading and Wigan have both recently suffered which totally hampered their chances of competing resulting in genuine and I mean genuine mid table mediocrity where they were never even in the play off conversation. At least we were!!!

So there you have it, the perfect 10 😂🍊🍊

Lay it on with a trowel, why doncha!?!?

Home form was generally ok and thought the Forest and Bolton cup games were entertaining.
The whole cup competitions were good fun tbh.

The home form has been excellent even if some performances haven't been super exciting.

The Cods and Pilley going down is definitely worth a chuckle or 2.

Dembele is not the finished article by a long chalk, he's got abilility to turn a defender, his final ball has been wanting on many occasions and he goes to ground to easily thus losing posession having said that he,s our starr player. Many of our fans adore him at 19/20yrs of age. Great entertainment. Critchley needs to wise up next season could be a rude awakening for him. If Mr Sadler backs him with some serious players then we could be invoved in the top six. But the pressure is on to take the remains of this squad into a serious contender for a top 2 finish !

We steadied the ship after a really awful season for the club and came extremely close to getting a playoff spot - I don't think enough people have taken time to appreciate that. The first season in league one is never easy, there are several very big clubs that will agree with that
We managed to recruit two of the best players you could ever hope to get at this level
We were fourth best in the league at home and another win would have made us the best
Good runs in the EFL trophy and FA cup, taking a Premier league side to a replay
There's many on here who will tell you it was a complete failure of a season, but I would easily give it a 6/10, and I think there's a chance to push on next season

I like your style man, I'm in your corner.

Let's just see how the team develops next year and hope beyond hope we turn out in the first game with a back 4, a quick and nasty CF and George Byers pulling the strings. If 3-5-fekkin-2 is churned out every game Critchley won't last.

Don't you think it's a bit weird to play the same formation every game? Sunday League teams happily switch formations and do a bit of thinking about which one suits their players, plus amazingly they also do different shit each game to try and beat their opponents. Come on Neil, loosen up ffs.
