Despite his performance today, Stroud is a complete **** and isn’t fit to referee at professional level!Wish we had more like him.

Agreed, but what goes around comes around. The one off Husband was 100% a penalty, he got that one wrong
An extremely heavy touch thenHusband may have touched his ankle but diving and twisting in the opposite way didn't help his cause, ref made the correct decision he saw the dive or exaggeration if you want to call it that
More likely under instruction after Critchley blasted the ref vs QPR. See. Pays to be vocal.Things even out. It was the same ref who missed the handball goal v Coventry
This ^I've never really bought into this "it will even out" thing. When our lads went down against Reading, some might say easily, didn't we have 2 players booked? There's another inconsistency.
I think we'll need a lot more decisions our way until it evens out, just my opinion.
However, I said at the time when Critch had his "little old Blackpool "rant that it could help us in the next couple of games. Well done Critch. Well deserved point.
I somehow doubt the EFL will have sent out a directive to all refs to be a bit nicer to us!However, I said at the time when Critch had his "little old Blackpool "rant that it could help us in the next couple of games. Well done Critch. Well deserved point.
Very good. I simply meant that it would be at the back of the referee's mind, that's all. Especially as Swansea were diving prior to the incident as several have posted.I somehow doubt the EFL will have sent out a directive to all refs to be a bit nicer to us!
Totally agree about the diving, they've not had a single penalty all season so maybe they need to ask themselves why.It looked a penalty but if their players keep diving, as they did on several occasions, you can't blame the referee for missing one. We've had so many bad decisions against, it is nice for something to go our way at last.
No it wasn't. For a start it wasn't given so it was 100% not a penalty, and secondly I've never seen anybody do a 180 degree rotation because of somebody standing in their foot. The one off Husband was 100% a penalty, he got that one wrong
Who is the somebody ?Don't know if it's true, but someone told me at the ground before the match that this referee had done ten Swansea home matches and they'd never won any of them.
Blackpool fan who sat next to meWho is the somebody ?
The previous manager had written to the FA saying they never wanted him again.Don't know if it's true, but someone told me at the ground before the match that this referee had done ten Swansea home matches and they'd never won any of them.
It wasn't a penaltyI've gotta admit the second one in the highlights looked a nailed on pen! However, it was the same lad(Laird? ) and if he's developed a reputation for it the refs aren't gonna be sympathetic. He who cries wolf etc...
In YOUR opinion. It wasn't given, so in that regard you're correct. However, after viewing it a number of times, and admittedly the lad Laird made a meal of it admittedly(which probably counted against him!) I still stand by my original post. It wasn't given though, and there was no guarantee they'd have scored from the spot kick anyway! It still doesn't make up for our disallowed goal against QPR t'other week though..It wasn't a penalty
Things even out. It was the same ref who missed the handball goal v Coventry
100%, him and Trevor Kettle should have been binned years ago.Despite his performance today, Stroud is a complete **** and isn’t fit to referee at professional level!
That’s because he’s from CardiffDon't know if it's true, but someone told me at the ground before the match that this referee had done ten Swansea home matches and they'd never won any of them.
It was the third shout. As you say, crying wolf.I've gotta admit the second one in the highlights looked a nailed on pen! However, it was the same lad(Laird? ) and if he's developed a reputation for it the refs aren't gonna be sympathetic. He who cries wolf etc...
