I don't know about you but I can't be doing with this attack v defence tactic from McCarthy when it's us doing all the ** defending 🤬

If we can keep 11 men on a pitch we have every chance in the world of beating the other 4 stugglers & the fight we showed with 11 men to come back & get a result off Hudderdfield was great 👍

Ah come on we did fight today and got a great result noone expected & a good motm performance from Maxwell who is the second keeper in the entire league this season to deny Burnley. Bowlers not been the same since he came back.

BIG Well done to all the players yes, but not McCarthy. We need to score goals and win games and he's Far too negative!
 
I thought it was OK today, I was a bit down when I saw the team sheet but tbf they played well and put in a good performance. Thought Thompson was good as he was put under a lot of pressure by their winger as was Gabriel.
Rogers was very good when he came on and for me should play whether that's down the wing or off the striker. We just need to start winning
 
Absolutely nothing good at all about getting a pointless point against a team that thought they only needed to turn up today for 3 points.
🦖 once again sets up negatively when nothing less than a win will do.

I would be happy if we lost 4-3 having a go than aimlessly drifting down a division and apart from that well fuckin done Dino Mick.

On another day, great point. Shame overall, it’s another terrible outcome. We needed to win today even without Rotherham and Cardiff winning.

Need even a bigger miracle now.
 
Today was a point gained in any context, Burnley were nailed on to blow us away.

MM obviously wants us to do something to try and win matches and the players have struggled to put it in to practice, but at the back we are doing OK.

Not the day to be grumbling when we put in a shift like that.
 
Anyone thinking we were likely to win today regardless of what we did is in denial about our respective situations. They've only lost twice in the whole season, and one of those was away to 2nd in the table - on paper their most difficult fixture. If you ignore that result, they haven't lost since 12th August. You really need to give your head a wobble if you think we could simply play an attacking lineup and give ourselves a better chance of a win. How we played was giving ourselves the best possible chance against that level of opposition. Sit back, soak up the pressure, stay organised, determined, and try and nick a goal at the end - which btw we very nearly did. If we'd set up to attack we'd have been picked off very comfortably.
The fact that other teams won doesn't mean this wasn't a really good and well earned point. The other sides around us still have Burnley to play, and I bet they don't take a point from them. The days that they play Burnley are the days that give us a chance to close the gap, today just was never going to be that day.

Well done to Mick and the boys. He has his faults but you can’t deny he knows how to set up a team to be solid and his selection worked. Attack remains a problem but credit for today.

Maxi did make some great saves but I thought Thorniley or Carey were our MoM today. I don’t think Garbutt played well and looked a bit lazy on tracking back but the team had some balance.

We looked more of a threat with Rogers and CJ replacing Bowler and Garbutt and Madine on for Yates.
