The CAR Paul Cooper walked through the doors at BFC in order to exercise his powers and commence the process of selling the club.

Seems like only yesterday that I was sat at my desk as I am now and I received the call from Paul to come down to the Club where I was introduced to Ben Hatton and Ian Currie and between us we started the task of taking control.

What a feeling that was after everything we'd all been through and what a journey we have all been on since.

Results might have been poor recently but we've come so far - it's incredible really.

People forget how the club was run for the last 30 years, it's in better shape now without a doubt, results on the field haven't been good but we are now in a better position to progress. Keep the faith!

I can take losing. What I couldn't handle was acting like a Sunday league outfit off the pitch leading us to look like one on it.

We act like a proper football club and there is a pride being restored. We'll be good next season. It's a learning curve for Ben and Simon. I have faith in the both of them.

Whatever else was done we should always remember that without VB the transformation would never have happened though I`m a little disappointed that he took the money and ran without even recompensing those that the odious Oystons had taken to court which would have been peanuts to him in the greater scheme of things.

Why should Val pay fans who the Oyston's ruined?
