Tuesday's game too soon?

Shame the Orient game wasn't played when it was due to be. They are flying and it looked like we had a few knocks. Be a real shame if this win was followed by a damp squib at Orient.

Looked at very even game at Oxford .. they have two home games and I bet Wellens knows a win against us will leapfrog us.
Battle of the minds and Wellens would love to get one over on us!

We usually perform crap in the game after we put in a hard working performance. That has to change on Tuesday with Orient just 2 points behind us

We are both in the same boat having played today.
They could have picked up a couple of niggling injuries or maybe the odd suspension for yellow cards.
Fitness will be the key factor BUT, if we play like today we can match anyone

The boys are in training for a couple of hours tomorrow. Hopefully the couple with knocks / strains will get a rub down with winter green and be fit for Tuesday.
Play like we did today and we'll be fine.

I can’t remember what they were like to play against but I seem to remember they were a good football side which should hopefully suit us.

I remember they had a couple of decent chances in the game and Pigott missed a sitter for them.we nearly won it at the end but Lavery blasted one wide when through,if memory serves me right it was a really poor game tbh.

Injuries aside let's hope there's no unnecessary tinkering and we take a positive attitude and formation into the game.
Little room for error from now on. Away form simply has to improve or we're done for this season.

That is so true - can anyone remember when we played really well and won and the following game played really well and won!!

Midweek away games have not exactly been our strength, that needs to change some time and a win tomorrow would really give us a boost. We've never really built any momentum because it's been one step forward, another back. Tomorrow night we need to see the same intensity and desire as we did against Bolton, it's time we started to show the rest of the division we are a threat!

The other side to this is that if we win tonight that'll be six points made up on Oxford within two games (as they don't play tonight).
We saw from Cambridge when we played them that they are as scrappy as Stevenage and who knows and with Posh not playing either to have a 3 point gap between 5th and 8th would make it very interesting heading in to the weekend.

Wellens spoke well about the game - they've injuries and tired legs too - he spoke well about us and Critchley too.
It's that time of the season where those that really want it play hard each game and go for it. Think it could go either way tonight and hopefully we get the rub of the green too.
