Just watched the Tuchel interview on the B.B.C website. My goodness , how powerful is that . He got , quite rightly, pretty emotional at the political questioning and firmly but very politely, gave them a good piece of his mind . Great to see a decent moral man just saying it how it is in the grubby World of moneybags British football .
 
100% Saw that myself and great respect to the man. The world's problems revolve around those who have too much money and thing they have the power to just get their own way.
 
He went well up in my estimations after that interview.

There will be some questioning his moral standing because he is working for Russian money but a job is a job. Everyone on this board would work for a Russian if it meant earning the money that Tuchel is earning.

Not everyone Leeds. Money isn't as important for some as it is for others, that's a personal decision that only an individual and their conscience can make.

Correct. 2 weeks ago the world was an ok place. And now it's not. Tuchel is a working man looking after his family. All of us ordinarily would love to have such a job. If you are going to start on the Chelsea manager then you need to ask about ALL the staff under the clubs payroll. It's absurd to be asking him or any of them these questions of morals. Morals don't pay the bills.

Totally agree. I have been hit with a similar situation. I have finally got a job back in the UK, however the company have (or had) a lot of Russian work. Although I have been assured that the Russian's actions won't impact what I work on, I would still take it to be at home with my family.

I seem to recall that the staff at the club came in for some abuse for working for the Oystons.

I'd take this further and genuinely ask if it's fair to question Abramovich around links to Putin or suggest he should be doing more in this situation. Unless the oligarchs are funding the war for their own gain then do we really expect them to denounce their own country's leader?

Maybe it depends upon what their history suggests. Like being the Governor of a State province whilst amassing billions.
