Trybull / Lyons ?

I don’t buy the ‘ he’s not one of Critch’s signings ‘ diatribe. Lyon’s is the one good thing that Appleton did whilst he was here and I’m sure that Critch is excited by what he offers. I do honestly think and it’s only a hunch that we’ve had an offer for him and that’s why he didn’t play.
You could be right there, Critch will be waiting on Gabriel ? if thats the case.

Let me tell anyone who needs to know, Lyons definitely has no attitude issues and wants todo his best for Pool!
The manager has his favs and is blinded by them, he is also network at best risk averse, remember this is the guy who preferred Turton at full back over Gabriel

Or he simply alternated Turton and Gabriel based on the opponents? Turton was better against teams that’s caused us a threat out wide whereas Gabriel better with more attacking freedom

Jeez. Talk about 2+2=5!
Critchley picked a team to win on Saturday assist relatively weak opposition. In also think he's maybe thinking that momentum is important and intends to field a decent line up at Derby.
It may well be that some players are carrying slight knocks or are simply not up too the same fitness levels as others for one reason or another.
Trybull was playing for the smallest professional club in Germany when we signed hiim. They had just been relegated back to the third tier in Germany. So he's hardly been in demand. He managed less than half a dozen games for us last season. He's clearly got fitness issues. He's under contract.

If I was Lyons I’d be pissed off joining a champ team and suddenly find yourself in Div3 but he’s contracted and should fight for his team and survival but hey ho we are discussing modern prima Donna footballers now.
I really rate him as a player and have no doubt that he can play at Championship level. But let's remember (& he should too), he was still part of a team that got relegated. Realistically, will there actually be that many teams in the Championship after him (that would actually be a step up from Blackpool.... Ignoring league status), or certainly ones where they are of no risk to relegation? I don't believe he will be on the radar of the top 10 sides, therefore, going to a number of the remaining ones, does that not put a risk of him being in a similar predicament come the end of the season as he is now? What mid-top Championship Club would be interested in him off the back of 20 games for a Team that got relegated, before that, playing over in Ireland?
May just be a different mindset (& obviously players don't have the same affinity with a Club as a fan), but wouldn't it be in his best interest to knuckle down this season, get another 20+ games under his belt, some more goals and sure up his defensive capabilities and push for something around January. By that point We may be in a position where he's enjoying it with a chance of promotion (Surely that is better than grinding it out in a mid-lower championship side)......

Obviously, that opinion is purely based on the thought of him wanting away..... It may be completely wrong.

As for Trybull..... Said in a post earlier in pre-season (I know it was only Barrow), but he is too good for league, and I would imagine he thinks the same. So wouldn't be surprised if he's off. Not been around enough or played enough for that matter to have an affinity with the fans or players. Most of his time here has been negative, so yeah, think he's off unfortunately, genuinely believe we would sail the league if he was fit all season.

Trybull apparently wants out from new gazette reporter. Be silly getting rid of Virtue if that is the case

Trybull can stay put. He’s under contract, our player. We’re paying his wages. He’s not a patch on Barry Bannan and he spent long enough in this league.
