Train to Peterbough

Looking at train times for Peterborough away. 4 hours and 32 min return time journey due to scheduled engineering works. Stops at Doncaster and Manchester. Bloody hard work this travelling.
Just over an hour from Leeds. See you there.

From That There, its a train to Bedford and then bus or train via Cambridge. That's after getting into London in the first place tried BSA claiming its only 6 miles from Burton but they weren't having it

Let the train take the... Oh wait... let the train cause the pain!
Away games used to be so much easier before profit became more important than passengers!

No mate. Its either

1. St P to Bedford and then a bus to Peterborough. or
2. Liverpool St to Cambridge and change for Peterborough ( Coming back may be a bit more complicated so do check)
If you want a lift from Cambridge let me know I’ll Ick you up at the station Mark.

Is this engineering works?

Actually it could work out quite well for me as I’m only 4 miles from Bedford and you usually can’t easily get from there to Peterborough by train. I was assuming I’d have to do what I’m doing today. Stay in St Albans, taxi to Hatfield and train from there.

Yep it’s engineering works. Looked at Trainline and couldn’t believe how long it took from round here.
