top ten loudest stadiums in the world

Don't usually start threads but saw this and thought it was worth showing.
Not surprisingly no British teams.

Alas, there is no technologically good footage of the Hampden roar. Possibly 1970, when Celtic played their Euopean Cup semi-final second leg against Leeds Utd - 136k on that night.

10. FC Partizan (Belgrade, Serbia)
9. San Lorenzo (Argentina)
8. Wydad Casablanca (Morocco)
7. Penarol, Montivedeo (Uruguay)
6. Boca Juniors (Argentina)
5. Red Star Belgrade (Serbia)
4. Fenerbache (Turkey)
3. River Plate (Argentina)
2. Galatasaray (Turkey)
1. Besiktas (Turkey)
Honourable mentions: PAOK, Legia Warsaw, Dynamo Dresden, Raja Casablanca.
Many of these allow flares into the stadiums,

This is literally just some random YouTube video.
Not an official ranking based on any science (dB readings ect.).

It has 1600 views, it's just a compilation made by some YouTube account. Absolutely not in anyway an official list of the loudest stadiums.

loudest stadium I was ever in was probably Sun Devil Stadium, Tempe. Arizona for the ASU Sun Devils vs U of A Wildcats College Football match up

Watched Flamengo (Rio, Brazil) in 1990 at the Maracana and that was at a different level of noise bearing in mind it was only a half full capacity

Am I missing something?
Generally speaking Blackpool fans say "at" or "in"

Nobbers and the East Lancs knuckle draggers say on.

There were 13000 at/in Bloomfield Road ✅

There were 13000 on Bloomfield Road ❌

It's one of the ways those who pretend they are Blackpool fans on this and other forums trip up.

I'm not saying you are one, but as TTG posted above, it does set the alarm bells ringing.

I have to say, I've never come across that demarcation before.

Exactly. There's plenty of random lists of so called loudest supporters.

San Lorenzo being in the top ten proves its just someone's opinion. I've watched Argentine football for a long time. And whilst San Lorenzo fans are known for being passionate, and for being the creators of many chants, theres plenty of other Argentine clubs just as loud or louder. Belgrano, Rosario Central, Newells Old Boys, River, Boca, Racing. Clubs in lower divisions too such as Atletico de Rafaela, Almirante Brown, Los Andes.

Boca and River yup.

There is more joy in the Kingdom of Bloomfield Rd etc
Ah yes I remember now: Luke 15:7 there will be more joy in the Kingdom of Bloomfield Road over one fan who talks about fans going on the ground, than over ninety-nine selff-righteous fans who needlessly insist that fans must say in or at the ground.

Actually it's :-
'I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. ' Luke 15:7 (NIV)

To celebrate Easter, thousands of Greeks climb a large hill on Kalymnos and proceed to throw live dynamite from the top of it so flares at a football match means diddly squat. 😧

and you lived to tell the tale…….?!
I was with a Chilean team in the early 90s and there’s no love lost between Chileans and Argentinians. Particularly after the help Chile gave to our special forces. But I had the only Stone Island in S America at the time was obviously too hard for the knife merchants 😀
