I don’t recall 8 minutes of stoppages. How long was Bridcutt down?At least three times in the second half the ball was not returned immediately back in play from behind our goal.
Their equalizer was scored in the last minute of the 8 minutes of added on time.
Any thoughts?
Yeh, you know what you’re trying to do and it’s a load of bollocks. At least three times in the second half the ball was not returned immediately back in play from behind our goal. This inevitably delayed the game.
Their equalizer was scored in the last minute of the 8 minutes of added on time.

Nor me there were at least 2 lengthy injury stoppages but even in a normal game and for reasons only known to the 4th official, they always add on 4/5 mins in an injury free 2nd half!I think the ref has to all 30 secs for each substitution on top of injuries.
Wasn't surprised when 8 mins went up.
Unless you're 1 down to Norwich, there's 7 subs and a couple of injuries, then you add on 3.Nor me there were at least 2 lengthy injury stoppages but even in a normal game and for reasons only known to the 4th official, they always add on 4/5 mins in an injury free 2nd half!
Are you implying there’s favouritism towards the top teams in English football, surely not?Unless you're 1 down to Norwich, there's 7 subs and a couple of injuries, then you add on 3.
I was in the away end where the ball was, and it was pretty clear that when the ball went into our fans, Maxwell turned and said something to the effect of ‘keep the ** ball’ knowing we’d throw it on and delay play again.Keeping the ball in the crowd didn’t help us
they did.Surely they have more than one ball in the whole of the football ground to continue with play don't they?
they did.
yep, but it's natural to wait for the ball to be returned but it wasn't so they got another ball on the pitch and of course then the first ball is returned. And that's what happened. It's a common occurrence these days. It probably took at least 30 seconds before the actual .play resumed. As for if and how many extra seconds he added on because of it, only he will know. But it certainly didn't do us any favours with a ref already seemingly against us.I know they do. It's normal, so it shouldn't be an issue with getting another ball back on the field, then we had two.
Except for when we played Norwich and they were winning and they put up 3Nor me there were at least 2 lengthy injury stoppages but even in a normal game and for reasons only known to the 4th official, they always add on 4/5 mins in an injury free 2nd half!
Oi Lee see #10 & #11 above!Except for when we played Norwich and they were winning and they put up 3
.. and guarantee if they hadn't have scored in the 8th minute, he wouldn't have blown his whistle until they did.Wasn't surprised when 8 mins went up.
