I think he will be a good signing. Great tonight. Made up for that piss poor attempt at a tackle which led to the Swansea winner on Saturday.
 
He was having a torrid time for half an hour in the first half against their winger but he had the intelligence to suss him out and once he did he controlled him. He is a revelation and has been great since we signed him.

I have to mention Williams too. I said it on Saturday, you don't actually notice him, that's a great sign because he just does things without any fuss, he has been excellent too.
 
Good signing, better than any RB we have when he's at it.

A few mistakes like for the goal and 1 or two others today.

But at other times he's excellent.

Definitely happy with him overall.
 
I don't think you can blame him for the goal on Saturday, he could only bring their lad down and it would have been a straight red and he wouldn't have been playing tonight. We conceded because we were going all out for 3 points, whereas last season we would have been in the corners trying to keep the point.
 
I said before the season we were weak at full back - we had no right back cover and I honestly don't think Garbutt or Husband are good enough at left back.
Now if we can get Thompson and Gabriel playing regularly I think it will make us much stronger and more balanced as a team. Both really good players. In fact, I have no issue with our defence in general - it's a championship quality back line as evidenced by the fact we've already kept two clean sheets in four. That's encouraging to me because it means that if/when we play poorly we can still dig in and pick up points.

He shouldn't have been left 1 on 1 though. I really like him love his attitude for getting stuck in.

His attempted tackle on the half way line versus Swansea was reminiscent of Boris Johnson's charity match one except the Swansea player managed to evade it.
 
Great signing best of all he's ours.
Prone to a few errors like Gabriel but exactly the type of player you need for a 4-3-3 to work.
 
Connolly and Thompson solidify us at the back. Both good in the air, and Thompson works really hard to stop a cross coming in. I rate Husband and Gabriel as well. Didn't rate James and think Garbut will struggle to get a game for us.
