I can tell you if I was on lock down, I wouldn't be singing to my neighbors through my window! But if it makes them happy in a bad situation.. why not 😂
 
Not a new phenomenon basil apparently. I read somewhere that they were doing this during the Spanish flu epidemic in 1918 in some Italian cities.
Maybe some ancient way of showing defiance in the face of adversity.
 
And people still dont wash their hands after going to the toilet ,dirty buggas, it might not be the cause of this virus but people need to change their hygene habits😡

Frankly you don't know what you would do if you had to stay in your home continuously for two weeks, they can only leave the casa to buy food from the few shops that are open. I think it shows that those Italians are still community spirited, something that we have lost in many areas of our own country. Good luck to them.
And please remember while you are holding them to ridicule that this is where we will be in a few weeks time in all likelihood.
 
If we get locked down over here, there'll be people on Grange sat out on their sofas in their front gardens listening to Hits Radio on TV through the living room window......
 
Nice to see their spirit.
If in lockdown think i would sooner be in an apartment in Italy or Spain where you can at least sit on the balcony in hopefully better weather with a drink, perhaps a guitar & interact with others safely.
Cant exactly do that from most flats in the UK.
Is the UK version people shouting abuse at each other from the windows of their flats on central drive etc? 🤪

No chance this country will stick to the "lockdown". No where near enough police to enforce it, and as Whit's says, gangs will just carry on as normal. Unless they get the army on streets it will be pointless.
 
The second this country is put on lockdown, bog roll and handsantiser wont be the only thing supermarkets are getting ransacked for.
British society will go in to panic buying meltdown.
