The standard of football in these play off games

Agreed. Especially the Championship final. Genuinely think we’d have beaten both of them if we had a full team out.

agree they've not been great games but if it were us I don't think we'd be so critical. We always think we can be better than we can

And I’m gutted as we have no visit to Sheffield next season now and so won’t get a chance to visit the excellent Triple Point Brewery taproom.

After watching Man City surgically dismember Munich and Madrid all of the play-off games look primitive with lots of lumping the ball upfield. We have to remember the pressure they're under though and the fact that they're not Man City. I think the Massive will do OK in the second tier with three or four additions.

When you think the remaining teams aren't as good as the one's we've seen (assuming the league table doesn't lie), it bodes well because the quality really has been lacking. Anyone who doesn't think players like Lavery, Yates, Lyons, Marv don't walk into those two sides we saw today, they're kidding themselves. And they were the 3rd and 4th best teams.
I really don't see any stand out candidates for the league next season, and looking at the bookies odds, neither do they. Enormous opportunity for us if we get the recruitment right.

I always look forward to watching the playoffs but this season was very disappointing, i don't think there was one quality game. Wednesday come back had drama but was a poor game. Peterborough woeful. Was impressed with how Barnsley played with ten men but they don't have a lot going on final third. Bolton were dreadful. The L2 sides were all poor. The Championship games were messy and dull too.
