Whilst I appreciate it may be important to those that won't have seen the previous cup wins against Cambridge and Southend I hope we lose on Tuesday - we can't have any suggestions that a wembley trip / win makes up, even partially for the current league situation.

I've never hoped to lose any game. Such a strange way of thinking. I hope we win and then go to Wembley and win and also win our league matches but if it doesn't happen it doesn't happen. I hope Critch turns things around and gets us performing but again if he doesn't he doesn't and he'll get sacked. I'm not gonna hope to lose so I can shout about sacking the manager or the board.

I guess you are hoping we lose that game and SS will be inclined to sack Critchley then.
Forget the 200K or whatever the club misses out on and forget the joy of a Wembley cup final for thousands of fans who would love to go, perhaps with family members for their first trip?

If we were in danger of relegation I’d get what you are saying, but we’re not so a cup win will be great for the club and fans, especially the young fans.
