The clock

About time too. Saves me putting the timer on my phone on. Usually a few nervous people keep asking me how much longer do we need to hang on. Didn’t happen much at all last season though.

I went to Sutton v NottsCounty yesterday and the first half lasted 54 minutes.

County’s goalie was sent off in the first half, it must have taken nearly 5 minutes for the sub to come on for an outfield player and fair play the ref added it all on.

Don’t know if our game featured this, but in the game I watched a player who had to get treatment was delayed by about 45 seconds before he could come back onto the field. Good idea to stop feigning injury, let’s see if it lasts….

Yeah was quite surprised how the EFL directed how clubs use their scoreboard. I would've thought it would be up to the individual club how their own scorecard. Just goes to show how much influence the EFL has

Didn’t work at Wembley today, 8 minutes added time, then a long delay for injury, so no one knew how much extra would be added.

This 30 seconds wait before coming back on after treatment is meant to prevent feigning injury. Have I missed something but if your player is fouled and needs treatment you are down to 10 men before he’s allowed back on, is that right?
