That's our season over ..

.. said it about Accy when they fell well behind with games played that at this stage of the season it's all about points on the board and we have too far to catch up and too many games to play.
I think last night sums up our season really - like someone driving a car for the first time and we've just kept stalling. Hopefully it'll be a smoother ride next season.

With 22 games left to play? Glad you're not the Manager.

9 points off 6th with 3 games in hand and 22 games left. Going to be difficult but wouldnโ€™t be writing it off yet.

Just wish we could go and watch.

The season is not over yet, however I accept we need to put tougher s a run of wins now as time is running out. No more room for performances like we put in the 2nd half against Ipswich. We know where the problem is weโ€™re not scoring enough goals, so if we want to get in the race for promotion we have to be more positive and that starts with the team selection.

You could well be wrong about Accy as well. These little breaks give freshness. Look at how well it worked for Wycombe last season

Totally agree with the o/p now that Posh is off - we could be 17th and 12 points off the Play Offs by 4.50pm tomorrow - no way will we come back from that.

HappyasLarry.....more like MisearableasLarry.

Funny thing is I thought most fans are just happy to see a game of football involving our team especially after you know what.Would seem not for to many on here who only want to see us if we are top or near top of the league.
Of course it would be great to be in around the play offs or better but I for one donโ€™t regard the season over as it is about watching the team I have supported for so so many years playing and by the way as the season could still go in either direction.

Forget this season let's give all the squad a few games and plan to walk this division next season, I believe we will be champions next season.

We have a young squad. They need to play in competitive games to build up their experience at this level regardless of where we end up in the table.

If we don't get promoted this season we will next.

The investment being put into the club will bear fruit in the near future

These are strange times and patience is required

Letโ€™s all just accept itโ€™s an absolute cluster fuck. Whatever happens happens. So stop ** whining thinking weโ€™re ** Benfica and we finish where we finish. Leave SS and NC alone until they get. Fait shot at it.
Well said Scaaramanga we are the pool and we will always have a place in history...BFC known the world over.

22 games left. I make that 66 points left. 14 of them at home. Players that wouldโ€™ve missed these games through injury could be back.

Are we likely to make the play offs? Probably not. Season over? Give your head a wobble. Loads of games to go

No need for a wobble, but itโ€™s going to take an extraordinary effort to succeed under the current circumstances. Iโ€™m at peace with the situation. 2021-2022

I canโ€™t see this being the last round of postponements, there will be at least a few more for weather or Covid outbreaks.

I think a danger for us is, if the season is extended past May 31st when most contracts end thereโ€™s a lot of our players who would be out of contract and probably unwilling to play the last few weeks of the extended season. Similar to a few cases last season. I wouldnโ€™t blame them to be honest.
But that could have a massive impact towards the end of that scenario plays out.

I've seen nothing be it from a TV screen to say we are a good side and derseve to go up or be in play off spots but that could change with so many games left.

We will hopefully have a decent go next season when we're all back. ๐Ÿ‘

I've booked my room in Wembley for the play offs.
Do you think I'll be able to get my money back if we get in the top 2? ๐Ÿ˜„

I don't necessarily get this 'young squad' thing. A good number of our players are between 25 and 30. In some ways recruitment has been quantity over quality. That needs to be changed this summer.
