Some of the criticism of the past transfer window is fair, I think we lost our way a bit after a bit of upheaval.
But the Teddy Howe signing shows how haphazard things were at the start of the Sadler reign, the quintessential scatter gun signing.
Things weren't great this summer, but Jesus we've still come a heck of a long way in a pretty short period of time.
